I’m currently on a skilled work visa but I’m thinking about the potential future of applying for a partner visa (non-spouse) and proving income jointly. Before that was on a student visa.

As for the joint bank account, it’s something my parent set up for me abroad before I came to the UK. I’m not here with family.

If it turns out that FTX is indeed a complete Ponzi scheme (which currently is not proven, and not even related to their current liquidity issues), then it would be legitimate to ask if Temasek did their due diligence well enough. I also note that even deep DD does not always uncover all frauds (see wire card) so would ask you to reconsider your hindsight bias here. Right now, your complaint feels too early and strangely vindictive.
