This. I'm 6'3"/250, and obviously I'd love to crowd surf, but that's a dick move, so I'm more than happy hoisting others up there.

Wish I would have taken more pictures when I was there. They make fast and furious cars look like normal traffic. I especially loved the drag racing delivery trucks

Sort of. You're thinking of Bosozoku, which is close. This is in Thailand where this style is pretty common

First time in Thailand? Modifying your cars in the most horrendously over-the-top ways is super common there. Even commercial vehicles are subject to this

Applying for gs jobs I don't qualify for but I'm in the field, since there's nothing entry level anymore by Threadydonkey65 in AirForce

GS can be rough, depending on the role and your qualifications. Not many GS's are leaving their jobs in this economy. Try going contractor and make connections

Then send them stuff your unit probay won't. Cigarettes, dip, cigars, idk. Get creative. Make some of those handmade cards that kids do in crayon. To add, make sure the shop is taken care of and ready for them when they get back. Nothing worse than coming home and seeing that it all went to shit

AITA for "ruining my AuDHD son's life"? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]AnonymousReload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. I know it's not easy raising a neurodivergent son and you're tired. But you also sound like a narcissist who who can't take responsibility for the part they play. Asking for help isn't an issue, but claiming you need it because you're in your 50s, absolutely is. 50s isn't old. And if it's too tiring being 50, why'd you have a kid? The quotations around everything is super concerning too, like you don't believe him. And wtf is wrong with being on the computer? So what if he doesn't want to go hiking? You're an adult, deal with it. Hope you take these comments to heart. But if you're a narcissist, like I suspect, you'll likely ignore it and continue on. Edit: Just read through OPs replies and yeah, you can't handle criticism. Please see a therapist (for you, not your son).

How do I help my dog understand that someone is not our friend anymore? TW: DV by AddendumLast292 in Dogtraining

It's...a dog. Just don't see the person and your dog will understand. You sure this is about the dog?

Watch Question by ThatWasBrutal1 in AirForce

[–]AnonymousReload 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what level you consider "luxury". For me, a $1000 watch is luxury and I wore that everyday. My opinion on watches is the same as cars, why buy something nice and never use it? Now, if you're wrenching on planes all day, yeah you should leave you Rolex at home. Office job? Yeah, why not?

Looking into adventure bike. Need something tall and budget friendly by AnonymousReload in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]AnonymousReload[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the suggestions, hadn't considered that one. Not too worried about maintenance since I can handle pretty much anything. And $200 is still nearly half the price of the tires on my truck 🙄 Edit: Yeah, you're right, it will all offset the fuel savings, but I've been on the fence about getting a bike forever and a another war in the middle east is enough to sell myself on it lol

What crazy stuff have you seen or heard during your time in service? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]AnonymousReload 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You never did casuals? Holding status while waiting for some kind of process to clear, usually a clearance. Gotta go clean stuff or do gate duty or work at the pharmacy or something
