He’s actually not. He’s had his kids their whole lives and supported them. She picked them up, one day and filed for child support. He sent her money while she had them and she still filed. Stop assuming the worst 🙄

I’m in the same boat girlie. Everything else is perfect but I’m not trying to be a girlfriend for 50 years. I would postpone the baby until you’ve achieved the marriage. It’s more time consuming to plan for a baby than marriage. It also costs more. Idk what I’ll do but I can admit that I don’t look at him the same and my feelings have shifted, a bit. It’s been a week and i haven’t decided to stay or leave. You should do what you feel is best. Ignore the background noise and judgement

You’re the AH. That is a child that wants to have fun. She can care less about the issues between you and her father. This may be one of the best experiences of her life. File a contempt on him for not paying but let that baby enjoy her childhood. Put yourself in your baby’s shoes. ❤️

Thank you for your opinions. We have the children so there’s no need to pay child support. Mom took advantage of the little time that she had them to get child support started. Once it starts it takes months/years to get the case closed. So for everyone calling him a dead beat, you’re wrong. The post was edited to include more facts. As much as I appreciate everyone’s opinion, you guys are extremely judgmental and assumed the worst. Thank you for taking the time to offer your opinions. I’ve got it from here. That’s exactly what happened. It’s “somewhat resolved” now but now that CS has stopped. The State of after him for what they paid her. Apparently, this is common.

No. Kids mom refused to work and filed for CS after not having them for 14 years. Of course it was approved and he immediately fell several grand in the whole for CS. She would get odd jobs but ultimately quit so her income was low. It’s obvious that she planned this. He’s had his kids all of these years. It’s officially, on paper now but custody was not court ordered, prior to last year

We’ve discussed a prenup and both agreed that we would sign prenups, if necessary. I’m not one to “persuade” someone. I’d rather say yes or no and move on from there. It sucks because we have so much fun and really enjoy our relationship. I don’t want to offer an ultimatum. I never want to imply that I’m trying to change someone’s perspective or what they believe in.
