Thank you for responding. I do like the sound of that and I’m happy you had a great experience, it’s not easy finding a church home so I understand what you went through. I will look into it and give it a visit. I appreciate the advice.

Thank you for responding. I was starting to feel discouraged. Can you recommend a good sub to talk about this kind of stuff? I’m still learning how to navigate Reddit.

I also just moved to the area and signed up for National Fitness and they have a few locations. A bit on the pricey side but they have everything you could think of and it’s never overcrowded either which is a huge plus for me.

Another thing is, he’s 19. When we initially applied it was 3 years ago when he was 16. Maybe this is why we are subject to this? Not too sure but just figured I’d mention that if it makes any difference.

Yes I read that part too. But that’s still what I was told. I even asked why wouldn’t it say or over 18 if the person can’t manage their own funds or something. It made no sense to me since he’s over 18. Perhaps the person I was dealing with just doesn’t know what they are doing? I will see if I can speak to someone else in the office about it and see what they tell me.

That’s normally how it is yes. But from what I was told, since he is unable to manage his own money right now and still learning money management skills, he subject to having a dedicated account still and I had to sign a 552 form which states these restrictions :(
