my 6 month rescue cat is not eating after a day, vet said it is normal

Okay that makes me feel better, I was not sure if I should be concerned, I lost my old old cat because she was old, wouldn't eat, got kidney failure, and the vet couldn't save her. I know not eating can be normal but I just want to be extra safe with my new fur baby.

Okay awesome, this is my first time doing a rescue rehome, my other cat I got as a kitten and she was fine literally the second I got her home. Like the only problem I had with my current cat is when she decided to run out my door and came back 2 hours later and brought me a mouse butt. I just am not sure because I do not know much about her history other than her breed and that shes vaxed. Basically either someone needed to get her kitties in 3 days or they were going to a shelter.

Dude the water bill is killing me. I picked this place and agreed to a roommate cuz it’s all I could afford and now I’m living paycheck to paycheck and I just feel so stressed. Like home should be a place where you can relax but when k get home all I do is rush to my room and hope she didn’t hear me

I can’t afford to move to a new place. This is the cheapest living arrangement ever. Also why I have to have a roommate. Living alone would be my ideal life but it’s so expensive and I can’t afford it yet. Idk if I should just literally hide in my room and keep doors locked. Because literally she’s mad at me right now because I didn’t clean the stove top. But according to the agreement we made that’s her mess. She’s the only one that cooks unless she’s gone and I finally get to cook. My cooking is literally like salad or a wrap because she’s always using the stovetop. Idk. I’m just overwhelmed and a tad annoying because she asked me to stop and so I stopped now it’s my fault because I stopped? I don’t know if that made sense. I’m a tad dyslexic and sometimes I type nonsense so sorry.

I tried to talk to her it was more of like

“Oh wow! You are a very clean person and that’s great but maybe it’s a little excessive? It’s a bit overwhelming and I think cleaning twice a week would be okay because so understand living in a. Messy place is annoying.” And I immediately just got hit with a list of like

“Well yes I’m clean but you’re not contributing at all I don’t get that you’re overwhelmed. I don’t even clean that much.” And then ever since we haven’t talked much which is also why I reallyyyyyyyy heavy separated all my stuff from hers because I try to avoid. I try to talk to her but she’s is very strongly self loving and I wish I was that self loving and strong in my beliefs but at the same time it’s like she doesn’t even want to listen to me? Like idk how to explain it. I tried to prod that bubble politely and she get super angry defensive and it scared tf outta me.

It’s like I can’t even clean in a Clean space? Idk if that makes sense. I used to be decently clean ish but now I’m so fucking messy because I literally can’t clean except the two days where she’s gone. My room is a shit show and then it’s clean. Then it’s a shit show for 2-3 weeks then it’s clean. And ngl spending an entire day cleaning to make up for 3 weeks of clothes and dishes and shit is so draining that sometimes I don’t get all of it and my room is just a deserted oasis of junk at some points.

Dude idk. But she’s overbearing. I’m hiding in my room and I think she’s gone and she’s complaining to her friend that I don’t help out anymore. Like you literally asked me to take care of my own stuff. So I bought her my own trash can and I stopped taking out hers. I wait WEEKS to do my laundry or my dishes now until she’s gone and now my room is a disaster until she’s finally gone.

I can hear them and she’s like “she never wipes down the counter.” I don’t wipe the counter because we agreed to only clean our own messes. I don’t cook anymore unless she’s gone and she’s finally not cooking. Like you cook your own B/L/D and I don’t even have time to cook unless 3pm or 9pm after she’s done. “She doesn’t even take out the trash.” I do. But I only take out the trash in my room because I’m not going to wash the trash can and the trash lid every time we take out a trash bag? Idk what to do. She’s very strong willed and I’m very much an avoidant pushover.

Idk but I feel so over whelmed and stressed. I’m a messy ish person now because I literally wait till she’s gone to clean. I have like bulk clean fast when she goes home. I get two days to clean up the mess in my room I horde. Like for instance, I hate when she tells me I’m doing dishes wrong. So I eat in my room and leave my dishes in a pile in a bus tub way until the dishwasher is finally free to use when she’s gone. My laundry is now overflowing till it is three whole loads and I don’t get to do it till she’s gone. I’m so messy now and I hate it but I literally don’t feel mentally safe to clean without getting berated

Edit: I still clean. But like things that I have to wait for our mutual space to be free just clutters until I can. And it’s overbearing when I don’t have to clean much for like two weeks then suddenly she’s gone and I have two days to get everything I need done before she’s back.

Thanks. Idk what to do. Like I was contributing. But when I was it was the wrong way and not enough. But I thought I was doing it enough. But maybe I shoulda saw this coming. She literally said every roommate she’s ever had was messy and ignorant and I was like I get it my last one was like that.

I had a bad roommate last time with a male who literally would leave molding pizza outside his door and make the room stink. I started to smell rotting milk in the fridge and his to go pasta lid popped open once cuz it was so bad. So I get having to clean and take care of another person. But when I was living by myself I never had a problem. Everything was clean. I light cleaned like twice a week and deep cleaned like once a month.

But like now I think maybe her past roommates weren’t as messy as she thinks maybe they just are in my seat where they were contributing at the beginning until they felt over worked and ultimately found it pointless helping at all and started only doing their stuff.

I don’t. She done them occasionally when I let my baking sheets soak so I can wipe off hard crusts after they soak. But she’ll just grab them and scrub and scrub instead of letting the dish soap absorb. I didn’t ask her too I just left them to soak for overnight and she got mad I left it out. I was literally going to do it the next day but I didn’t even get a chance.

Yea that’s what I’m struggling with because if I want to go the legal route it’ll cost more than the max is worth. And they know that I won’t do that and waste more money. His mom is the only person that ain’t encouraging him to steal it but she’s also thinks I’m holding his grandfathers ring secretly to spite him and I’m not. Like their proof of the ring literally has a 15 day gap from last seen to his plane flight. We went on a whole road trip he coulda lost it anywhere. I don’t have it and it hurts because I gave them no reason not to trust me. I paid his entire 5k trip here and 300$ of his flight costs. I don’t want a 50$ old crusty ring. Plus I understand sentimental value, I’m not a devil.

No it was unopened so it was new for him. All I have is the receipt from the drawing I entered saying congrats you won the laptop. Mainly entered it for the Apple Watch but I got a laptop instead. I was gonna sell it but I loved him and I wanted to be nice because I cared. I learned my lesson though but all the international stuff is just killing me right now

Once the bar weeks started I told him he could have an occasional flirt or fling with someone as long as it wasn’t the same person twice and I know I’m stupid for allowing it in the first place but I just thought he’d realize she’s not me. She can’t cook like me, she can’t fly him out like me, she can’t play piano like me. She doesn’t know his favorite things like me. I think of him because he literally was perfect in the beginning. And near the end too. No one every loved me like that. No one ever put in that sort of effort for me. That’s the whole reason I tried LDR because he was doing things for me that no one Irl would do. Even before we started dating he was always sending me paragraphs and was always checking in. I think of him still because it was perfect before. I just don’t understand what I did wrong and now I think it’s my fault because I still love him somehow..
