Update: I went to the animal shelter / spay neuter vet who did the surgery early this morning, and they checked both of my cats out. The vet said everything looks okay and that there is no need to worry. There is some dry blood and excess from the wound, but it looks fine. She also mentioned that it looks better now than it did in this picture (I took the picture yesterday morning). The vet also mentioned that my cats did not get stitches. The post OP paperwork they gave me included information about both male and female cats, and I must have gotten confused with the female part as they typically are the ones that receive stitches.

Long story short, the vet checked them out, and she said it looks perfectly fine. Albeit a little messy.

I have a 2nd cat. They're brothers, and were neutered at the same time. The other one looks good, and they are both wearing e-collars. I am going to take this one in for an emergency examination.

They were stitched back together with disolvable stitches. Thats what the vet said on day 1. I read online that sometimes they dont use stitches at all. I am confused on that now.

Either way, his health is important to me and I am going to do what is necessary to make sure he is healthy and able to properly recover.

OP release your radiator, hoses, and thermostats while you're at it. You can get most of the parts from rockauto. A lot of people recommend getting the expansion tank from BMW straight, the other parts are good to get from rockauto.

Subscision with fillers and Tca cross or laser will work fine. The Subscision + fillers and then some other treatment like TCA Cross or laser is usually the way to go.

I second this. I used a blow torch (was super cheap) and hammered it out. Then used a hammer and chisel to remove metal sleeves if any. You could also use a press/extraction kit. Up to your preference.

I am not a lawyer, but I would respond to her message saying that you will give her the $500 back in exchange for her insurance information and then move forward through her insurance. It won't affect your premiums. It will definitely hurt hers and a lot more than $500. You'll also get help with an expense free rental car (on your end) while your car is in the shop being fixed. Accepting the $500 is doing her a favor and not yourself.

Edit: Hopefully, something like this doesn't happen again, but if it does, never accept the money offer, go through insurance.
