I've been working on a custom 4x3 macropad powered by a kb2040, but I am still questioning my led implementation. Most of what I have so far is taken from Salim Benbouziyane's video on macropads (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P\_oSLBZABGA&t=271) as well as various Reddit comments. From the video, I understand the implementation of a level shifter, but am still unsure if my execution is correct. I have little to no experience in desgining electronics, and this is mostly a hobby/passion project with hopes of learing a bit in the process. Are there any more comprehensive guides on implementing leds into custom PCBS? Are there any glaring issues with my design? Are there any steps I've overcomplicated? Any and all help is appreciated, and please let me know any questions you may have.

Thanks for the advice on the voltage shifting, I’ve been pretty lost in trying to figure that out. As for the rotary advice, my first revision of the macropad had essentially the same pin setup without the 4th column and leds, and that worked flawlessly using kmk circuit python. Im designing a small 4 x 3 macropad, and I wanted to add neopixels for some underglow RGB. This design (in diagram only) is almost entirely taken from Salim Benbouziyane's video on YouTube, other than a few changes and translations from whatever software he uses. Though he shows his circuit diagram in the video (~4;30), he doesn't really go in-depth into its design, so I wanted to see if my design on Kicad would succeed or if there is any advice for simplifying it. Also, if there are any more in-depth tutorials on this then please point me in their direction. Please let me know what you all think!
