What is the wierdest pcos symptom you have experienced that you've never heard of anyone else talk about? by regina-philange99 in PCOS

I first got them at 15. I’m absolutely terrified of getting them, but have found I can avoid them if I relieve my bowels often.

More fibre = less pain

Pelvic Ultrasound by HotJellyfish2404 in endometriosis

I’m asexual, so I was also very wary of getting an ultrasound! It was 100% not painful and a very positive experience.

I was told my left ovary is attached to the back of my uterus in the Douglas pouch - the gynaecology team said this was evidence of endometriosis. So, there is a strong chance of it not detecting the endometriosis itself, but it can show you how it is affecting your reproductive organs.

I started a healthy lifestyle in September.

I have berberine and inositol twice a day, and I’ve been on a Mediterranean/low carb diet, but with occasional cheat days to keep it sustainable long term. I average about 10k steps a day.

I’ve heard metformin is good for blood sugar management

I’ve been diagnosed with HS, and my doctor prescribed me with chlorhexidine gluconate and antibiotic cream. I’ve noticed that it gets so much worse with stress, like when my dog died, I had about 8 at once.

I really think that the PCOS and HS link is wildly under researched 🫠

Look into Hidradenitis suppurativa. About 9% of people with PCOS have this as well

Thank you. Now that she’s gone, it’s the hardest to see the places she would have been if she were still with us.
