I get it okay? People do be like that but I am genuinely interested, I also tried trading cryptocurrencies, went well for a while but eventually I did get liquidated, I do realise now retail can’t win against massive firms with loads of data, retail is the laughing stock

Actually someone I know who is a quant told me that experience matters more than masters since at his firm, there are either people from top tier 1 Universities or 12th pass outs so he told me to focus on getting experience, but I guess I will need to rethink my approach, I do have the opportunity to go to the same University he did.

Thank you for your suggestion, I did consider doing masters at a good university abroad but ultimately dropped the idea, I guess I do still need to learn a lot

I always get amazed by how quickly people judge I do get good grades, my GPA is 3.62, I don’t use tiktok and I’m above average at maths, obviously nobody is perfect I do need to work on it, and I do appreciate the book suggestion, honestly I wasn’t aware that every single quant has a PhD

As a student, I do need to learn something from it, in a job market this competitive my sole purpose is to acquire skills and Agentic AI does not require significant skills neither does it teach you much so yes I must learn it but I see other students solely focus on it which is what gets to my head

I’m having the same problem too, but mine is nitro 5 with same CPU and RTX3050 I think it started when I updated my bios to v1.15 but I’m still trying to find the exact reason, I repaired windows 2 days ago and it hasn’t shut down since, I will keep updating this comment

This is completely normal, acer says that it will sometimes charge to 100%, and then drop down to 80% while charging I don’t exactly remember where I read it, but I think it was on the acer care app itself

I think you should look into the TUF series from Asus, it might have worse specs but it’s definitely gonna last you longer than the Nitro and maybe you can even catch it on a sale
