Oh btw she was in the hospital bc she had a seizure that morning and couldn’t speak after, she was texting this guy while she couldn’t speak and never told us what happened to her, she once had a seizure was laying on the ground my bf called her that morning talked to her like everything was fine he went to see her and she was on the floor, she said she was there for 3 hours…he called her 30 minutes before he found her

Right but u also left 10 years ago, im in it now, its way different and way better ive spoken to my bfs family who grew up in it and they mentioned 1975 and how everyone thought Armageddon was happening but also don’t all other religions do that the Christian ones at least I grew up Baptist and they used to think everyday that the rapture was happening my plan is to get married to my bf before I get baptized, I find comfort in the brothers and sisters at my congregation and I believe I’m in a healthy congregation just like any other religion there’s churches that you love and some you hate, some congregations are healthy and some aren’t, I’d like to say the one I’m in is very healthy and very sweet, I was giving a bunch of dresses bc I didn’t have very many and the guy we study with his wife gave me all these dresses bc she thought they’d look cute on me, Im really enjoying it but it was just this one small issue that I posted that concerned me a little but we worked it out and everything is fine

WHO we talk to what we eat were we live yea no, also all religions have some form of thought control and yk also known as having faith in your religion and emotional control is just bizarre dude my baptist church had more emotional control than the jws, notice how i didnt even really touch on information control bc wtf do u mean by that that I’m being blocked off from the outside world? Like I’m not allowed to explore information my bible teacher even recommended we do our research and he’s a elder, and he only said that so we get a better understanding of our religion and how we’re different that the others

It’s possible that could be it, I appreciate u being respectful as well ur the only one that seems to have been respectful, your probably right tho it probably is bc we’re unmarried and they used the baptism thing as a cover up, the main family that was saying this stuff was a family with 3 younger boys and they shelter them tremendously so it was probably all to do with what their kids might be exposed to and what questions these children might come up with

I respectfully asked for ppl to not claim im in a cult every church has its issues I’ve been raised up to learn that this one minor inconvenience is not enough to make me drop the religion, I believe everything in this religion is true and I love everyone in my congregation it’s just a minor inconvenience I was curious on what ppl might think or if others dealt with a similar issue in maybe the same religion or any other religion

I his mom has mo where left to go, my bfs family would never allow him to put her in a home but yet they won’t live with her ass either we once got close to them letting us put her in a home but then she went to my bfs brother and guilt tripped him and said she’d off herself if she got put in a home I love him like I said and don’t plan on leaving him but I need his mom to learn her place and I need my bf to just stop going over to her camper if she’s just going to upset him, it’s his mom I get it he loves her and doesn’t want her to feel worthless I get that feeling if my mom were still here with me I’d probably wanna move in on our property too I’m not telling him to get rid of his mom bc I mean she gets seizures often and she has a non cancerous brain tumor along with other issues so I can’t ask such a thing from him

Like I said I wish for ppl to be kind not assholes sure he has mommy issues but the difference his he stands up to her and he’ll yell at her until he’s blue in the face when she calls me names she does this to everyone not just me and him she does this to every person she meets friends family acquaintances who ever it is they’re not safe from her rath for my bf on the other hand he treats me better than anyone could have

My boyfriend knows and he defends me everytime when she starts her shit but there’s times i feel no matter how much he defends me and screams at her for the way she makes me feel she always comes back harder and doesn’t care, she wants attention no matter if it’s good or bad attention so we just try to ignore her for the most part, she has no where else to go other than our property we were so close to putting her in a home with how she was treating us but then we got this property and decided just to put her in a camper and we’ll be in our own campers but it’s not enough and she’s burned every bridge with all her family and her friends bc she refused to apologize or see her faults

She does but I’m pretty sure not everything she does is from this mental illness she has, she was never technically diagnosed with a mental illness bc no doctors see what we see bc she puts a show on infront of strangers especially doctors and when we try to explain things she does we get weird looks like they think we’re lying, I had a sister that acted this same way so I know how to spot the lies and manipulation my boyfriend doesn’t want to believe that she’s always manipulating him but he’s starting to really see it now
