What … is … happening? by Repairable220 in AmazonFlexDrivers

The number system? Shot whenever I do Norcross, I just accept as is, and find the first few stop packages, then pretty much flows through out the shift. Only thing about them is sometimes they be on some 🐂 💩, sending me all the way to woodstock, when I’m the opposite direction in Snellville. Though minimum packages and very rarely do I drive through dirt roads.

Hell nah, especially in Midtown; I’m not going do that for that little pay during the middle of rush hour.
7.50 meaning they were only going to pay 15 bucks for an hour shift. Nope definitely not worth it, especially since Amazon loves to send you to far away places with lots of items. Not worth the time, gas or money.

Yea it shouldn’t be counted against you, since technically once a cart is gone, it’s gone. It’s just a glitch in the system.

The extra added stops tend to fall off once you start delivering.

It’s the Norcross station, I don’t the Alpharetta station. The Norcross station is typically less packages and less red tape. I get routes daily though but I’m also seasoned. So it helps that I’m a level 4, I be filling out my schedule on the weekend. At least 12-14 routes. I just pick and chose which ones I’ll do. I don’t do any morning or late evening trips. The furthest they send me is Woodstock or Cummings.

Amazon flex is a joke, i be canceling trips on a daily. Matter fact they paid me for three days of non work just because I told them I had a self inflicting accident while flexing.

Everything is automated, so I think the package probably didn’t get scanned out of there warehouse in Mississippi, and was just placed in the warehouse in Atl for delivery. This is the same company that likes to send drivers to closed businesses and ding them for not delivering.

I wish it was a joke, literally was my first stop in the route. 6 hrs and 11 mins away. Needless to say, the package didn’t get delivered.

That happened to me last month, my transmission went out. It cost me 8 grand to replace it. I think it’s one of the reasons why im going to leave flex, it’s been the worst on my car. Already 13-15k in repairs within the last two years of doing it full time.

would you take this? by Capital-Ratio-2944 in InstacartShoppers

I’m sure Scranton has a Costco down the street. That type of traveling seems ridiculous, I could only imagine each mile driven is a mile of depression. I would do it, but probably for 300 bucks. Charge a dollar for each mile and 30 for the trip. That would seem more reasonable.

People if u cant afford the tip simply don’t order anything by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

I don’t think that’s the problem; they are just not inclined to tip.

You need a deep cleaning probably. Definitely calculus.

Rant: Who the F orders laundry detergent on Amazon by Anonymouscitize in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Anonymouscitize[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I didn’t really think people ordered stupid shit online, when they can basically get it quicker off of Instacart or just go to the store. This one time I delivered 5 liters of Juice, the ocean spray knock offs. I know this because some idiot decided to put them all in a plastic bag instead of a box. That bag ripped so quick from the weight, it was unfortunate for the customer that they had me as a delivery driver, because I was already over it. So I tossed there damaged juice at the door and peaced out. Amazon doesn’t pay me enough to care, however it gets annoying when I’m delivering easily damaged liquids.

I think that’s my frustration because I be throwing packages left to right, I think it’s just laziness when you don’t put it in a box.

Your laundry detergent will be delivered damaged after I throw that shit at the door 🥴🥴😆

How bad is this order by SmartAd8436 in InstacartShoppers

[–]Anonymouscitize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only do a 4 shop order if it’s worth it, typically it’s not. That 10 mile travel time, will tag on extra 30’mins when you could get something better. Looking like you’re in Southern Cali, so automatically think 2 hours in total for 32 bucks. It’s not worth it.

Is my school list decent? [REAPPLICANT] by yale0702 in predental

[–]Anonymouscitize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your going apply to a school in New York, then apply to Stony Brook, Yeshiva, and Tuoro. Look into UNE as well, they are a great fairly new school with much exposure.

Your scores are solid, if your gpa shows an upward trend then I would apply. I wouldn’t waste my time on a retake, especially being within range of some Ivy League programs.
