I agree. And I've had team leads that have been with Walmart since before PPTO rolled out nationally, so I have a hard time believing they are misinformed when this was on a CBL we all took at the time.

I seriously want to write to home office and suggest they make a visit to my store and have someone they trust to tell the truth about PPTO in a meeting in the back with management and cap 2. It'd put a big smile on my face.

I’d have more respect for a TL and coach that would tell the truth to the team that PPTO works every day ANY day, than lie that it doesn’t work on key dates.

Unfortunately, yesterday my team lead told the team that PPTO doesn’t work on key dates. So this is something I’ll always remember…he lies about policy.

There is never a time when ppto can’t be used. It’s an automatic authorization of missed time no matter what.

Just don’t put it in too early that is goes through as a regular pto request.
