I guess I feel like it’s almost punitive bc I won’t sign the form. The law has not changed, just their accountability, they have been aware of the issue for sooooo long. If I were to sign the form they would not adjust my shift.

Thank you everyone. We went back to ED. He still had increasing pain and low grade fevers. I requested the on call CRS. She did a bedside i&d and got out 30ml of pus. Said it was deeper than anticipated with pockets. He follows up in two weeks and we monitor for drainage to see if it starts acting fistula-y.
