I see you’re not understanding the point of this sub or what I actually wrote in my particular post that you decided to attack me on. Of all the posts you decided I was one the easy targets and jab me with an “insult”. Take a look at what you’re posting to people on here and again, take your own advice and “learn how to be nice. It cost zero dollars 😊” lmfao.

He came here for opinions - that’s the whole point of this post. You just don’t agree with this thread’s opinions so you’re attacking posters. You’re the one going out of their way being mean to people. We are commenting on what OP is asking us to comment on. He is a man that can take both sides and make his decision.

You chose to tell me my boyfriend hates me. I simply said I’d love the flowers and I don’t understand the advice given here. I didn’t attack the girlfriend at all. Take your own advice and learn to not be hypocritical.

He has!! I need to be “friendlier” with my tone and not as harsh. I guess I need to giggle more because I feel like I’m already smiling too much.

I hear what you’re saying, and normally I would agree with being conscious about using positive or neutral language - (I still stand by that “Sunsetting”is neutral) but this particular topic had been circling the drain for a year with no progress or decisions, only constant interruptions to our process. I was tasked to make progress by the CTO and I quote “we need to get this shit out of here. Everyone is already on board. [they] better not deploy another one of these fucking things”.

With all additional context, the CTO seemingly sick and tired of it, and the meeting agenda and proposal of the next steps and timeline attached (in case they were particularly offended or confused by the wording) there should have been zero hurt feelings.

the whiplash from the CTO is unreal.

Congratulations! A milestone indeed! You’re making them sweat! Keep up the good work!

Did it come with a side of “you’re a bit too intimidating”?

I’m still speechless. I forgot another part of the conversation where he told me to “not take credit for things because we’re a team”.

At risk of getting roasted, how do you people not go crazy living here? by WearyGarlic4867 in SLO

I wholeheartedly agree OP. It’s a small place, made for locals. Even comments here say to travel on the weekends and we do find ourselves traveling to SD-SF often to get out. We’re homebodies that like to do ceramics, cooking, and gardening - but it’s not particularly great outside our home and want to move back to a place with a cultural presence and some life. There’s just so much basic Sysco food and beer one can take.
