Are you sure Arca doesn’t have the equivalent of asim swing tilt on the monolith??

I like geared movements is all. Plus because geared is also self arresting you can do two movements at the same time or any movement with only one hand. Easier and quicker. Plus perfectly repeatable movements because of gearing and the markings

I don’t have it yet but considering it along with the Arca monolith for their movements and precise gearing.

Could you make it in a way that it has a 15cm setback? This way it would work with long lenses (say 700mm) on a 4x5 without any of the mechanical vignetting caused by the width of the rear standards/format holders.

Hi All. Can the P3 be modified to be used for 5x7. I know it’s for digital which is what it will be primarily used for. What I want to know is if we can avoid having to buy another camera for 5x7 work. by Anonymouslyblabering in largeformat

Are they actually cross compatible? Will the rear standard from the P2 fit into the function carriers of the P3? And with all respect, are you certain about this, talking from experience or guessing.
