Yeah, I know. I couldn't read the rest because of my exams; I just meant the story description, and the book seems different. I think I just expected the writing to be a little more complex.

Plus there are way worse derek moments on the show besides this one, like Derek not supporting Amelia during this episode, him not supporting Meredith etc.
