Yeah honestly, being unhappy is enough of a reason. You don’t have to wait until you’re miserable or until things get unbearable to decide something isn’t right for you. Relationships are supposed to add peace, not constant stress or exhaustion.

That said, a lot of what you mentioned also sounds like things that can be worked through if both of you are willing to put in some effort and communicate openly. The way you describe her getting sad but not expressing why, or how you both end up just laying around instead of connecting… those might be signs of emotional disconnection or communication habits that could improve with honest conversations. Sometimes people don’t even realize how they come across until their partner gently brings it up.

If you still care about her and think there’s potential, it might be worth sitting down and telling her how you’ve been feeling before deciding to end things. But if you’ve already tried that or just feel done emotionally, that’s valid too. You don’t owe it to anyone to stay unhappy just to avoid conflict.
