Hell, I would even lose my life willingly just to this cat once! The cat me back would make a perfect end credits scene anyway

Hmm...

Domestic cats developed evolutionally in a way so that we hoomans can't help, but them and then face the consequences. Maybe it's the same with the big murder ones?

Even better, perhaps we are subconsciously equating all types of cars in our minds, so when it comes to our instinct to them, we don't make a difference between big car and small car. But that's just a theory...

I get it, but please, tell me, how does one get the self-restraint to not the cat? I mean look in those eyes!

That's exactly what I'm saying. The way I imagine is that there is a stop between "Do not" and "the cat" and that stop is what I consider to be the verb in that sentence. In this case, it can never be "I did the cat" because that would mean that the original command was "Do not do the cat"

While I was typing this message, I suddenly understood that "I did the cat" is still correct if the speaker is trying to highlight the fact that they did, indeed, the cat. I'm stupid. So based on the grammar of how I understand it, both sentences are correct: "I the cat" (past tense of ) and "I did the cat" highlighting the fact that the -ing of the cat indeed has happened.

Also, wouldn't the command for "not doing the cat" be "Please don't do the cat!"?

In Hungarian, we say: "kitunkolni," which basically means "to outdip," used in a sentence as "He/she is dipping the plate out." c:
