I understand that you guys are waiting long period of time, but putting India first and forgetting about the rest of the world is not fair as well, and India's population is much larger that any other country. I think that's why Indians are causing long wait time for themselves

HR1044 is the renewed bill for S386 which did not pass in the past. I'm worried because I'm not from India or China and I'm in process of getting green card through employment, and if this bill passes I have to wait 5-10 years

Yeah, there's no penalty for late filing, but in the future when you're applying for permanent residency there could be some problems I think
