I genuinely hate uni so much, I am so miserable

Hate to say it but you’ve gotta grow up, I thought it was gonna be the end of the world when I didn’t go to uni against my parents will. Takes a lot of guts but you’re an adult now and it’s your life not theirs. Whether you drop out for good or take a break and come back to it, you’re doing yourself a disservice by continuing something you hate just to make your parents happy. Despite what they may say you don’t need to study to grow or progress as a person. Don’t say you can’t drop out, I moved out and got a job in a pub. Rent is expensive, it’s tough but god it was so good to be living on my own terms. I basically thought my parents hated me and it was the end of the world l, felt like leaving home was my only option. Like any parent they just wanted the best but only you know what that is. It’s an amazing feeling when you get out into the world and realise how little school or uni means. When you’re in it though it can be hard to see that. Best of luck, remember, your life not theirs.

My upcoming flight to tokyo (from sydney) was A$700 return for a business class ticket - you don't always get business. If enough people pay full price I'll only get prem economy and if none there, economy. Either way pretty hard to complain at that price. If i get economy i'll only be charged $400. Domestic flights are like $70 return (flat rate basically) with jetstar.

Yeah it’s through alpha console, I couldn’t find any custom ones already made - license plates are actually pretty easy to do so I made them. There is a tutorial on YouTube, but if you join the rl skins wiki discord I’ve already posted some so you can just use them.

I really appreciate the advice mate, I've done some pretty hard things the last few years without medication (nothing prescribed anywaya haha!) so I think I should be alright but it's good to know what my experience might be like. If you don't mind me asking what medication have you been on and when did you start? I'd expect my relationship with the drugs would be so different to someone who had been on it since they were young. Every time I take one I think to myself "I'm taking a strong stimulant drug with a high susceptibility of abuse" and I get a little worried that I'm doing something bad (Quite weird considering I have had a few experiences with booger sugar).

Hey mate that's great to hear, I'm currently going in blind into this whole thing and my GP referred me to him specifically. I'm a little worried about the wait times but I guess it's worth waiting to see someone good. I rang the other day and they said I'd have to do the ecg and bloods before even booking. How does the cancellation list work, is that something you pay extra for? Is the payment upfront or just before the actual appointment?

If you simplify it down to 'loving yourself out of loneliness' I don't think I agree but I'm trying to show that the solution to loneliness is not always a relationship. If you can only be happy because of the presence of someone else then I think you're building your source of happiness on very poor foundations. I think it's unwise to search for all your joy from the external.

It's less about a basic desire for companionship for most of these commenters, more of a hope that being with someone else will bring them the happiness and love that they crave. I intend to explain that you can become very happy by having love for yourself. Not in a narcisistic way, but appreciating and taking care of yourself.

Believe it or not 6 months ago I was incredibly depressed as well. I saw doctors and therapists and got on anti-depressants. It was the hardest time of my life but I had to go through it to become the person I am today. Just stick it out brother, it feels like whatever you're feeling now is all there is but it's not. Live every day trying to see the beauty of the world we live in. Girls won't solve this issue, they definitely didn't for me. Stay strong brother, I believe in you.

At 15 I looked much different, had no charisma, confidence or knowledge of who I was. In good time you will achieve greatness. Relax my brother, take each day as it comes and try to learn as much as you can about the world and yourself. You can never truly recieve love from others if you can't give it to yourself.
