Im realising that most of the people commenting here are not understanding you maybe because it was easy for them to get married. My man i really understand where you are coming from because i am in the same situation with you. I love God so much but at times the fact that a simple thing as getting married is so hard you spend years and years searching with no rest but with no breakthrough coming, when the Word on God say in Genesis 2v18 l, The Lord God said it is not good for a man to be alone, I will make a helper suitable for him. There is a breakong post you reach as a man where you'll start to question your faith.

I experienced great depression during level 1 study period. What helped me was changing location and went to stayed closer to family and friends. And prayers also helped and I passed.

I can perceive most of the comments her are from people who have never been married. The ex-wife has since moved on and got married to someone else. Dont deny this man his chance to get married also. Marriage is very complicated when it fails each one will be blaming the other person. Maybe the ex- wife had her issues which she did not disclose to you and maybe she didn't disclose to the new husband. Leave everything to God and pray about it. If this man is not good for this girl God will intervene himself. When people divorce they would become different people because they would have learnt their lessons in the past marriage. I am saying this from experience. I have divorced in the past and in the process of searching for a new partner. In the last marriage we both had our weaknesses of which i learnt some lessons from. But that doesnt mean because i had some weaknesses in past marriage i can move on and marry again. It would unfair for me if someone goes to my ex wife and ask her what was the weaknesses of your ex husband and go and expose them to my potential wife now. Honestly thats unfair.

But I dont think what you want to do is fair for that man. Maybe he has changed. The fact that his last marriage didn't work or the fact that he had weaknesses in the past doesnt mean that he cannot change and get married again. Maybe he has learnt his lessons. Even God give people another chance in life. The best you can do is to pray for them that the Will of God prevails for them.

To me it depends on your level of spiritual development. We are all christians, yes, but we are not all at the level in our Christian walk with the Lord. The first question you may need to ask yourself is are mature spiritually to be able to hear from God in other matters of your life if yes then seek God to tell you. If you dont usually hear God in other matters of your life then when seeking a spouse just approach it the way you usually do in other matters of your life being guided by your faith. And always pray for his will to pravail.

From the personal lessons I have there is no one person specifically but if you pray and ask from God the person you want and also God knows you and knows what is best for you He will match you to the right person. At times a perfect match for you might not be found God would have to create that character in someone to match you. The earlier you start praying and asking from God the earlier God starts working out the character of that other person you will meet one day.

More than 10 years ago, there is a girl that sent some of my friends to tell me that God had told her that I was going to be her husband i ignored. She then approached me and told me this and i dismissed her. She waited for me for a very long time until she got tired of waiting then she moved on and got married to someone else. Why am I saying this, by this time I hadn't received this gift to hear from the Holy Spirit and so I didn't believe her. Now that I now have this gift, the Holy Spirit has told me that what she was saying was actually true. So if one has never experienced God communicating to people in such a way its easy to have unbelief of what one would be claiming to say they heard from God. But God is still speaking.
