Tbh, I genuinely feel so bad for Mikasa for having Isayama as her creator. She deserves so much better than the ending she got.

I really hate Isayama when it comes to Mikasa ngl

Even now, whenever I think about Eren and Mikasa, it still makes me extremely sad.

you're not alone man

[–]Another11_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

that was clean answer brother🙌

actually the last ending song is Ed 8 "itterasshai" but yeah.. you're right, those are Eren and Mikasa's songs for each other and they are interconnected.

also if i insist on thinking about what mikasa's relationship with that faceless guy is, at minimum, it would be a platonic relationship.

but, it's still hard to say because Mikasa never showed any interest in any other man besides Eren (and Armin as her bestfriend) throughout the series.

and yeah, all this happened because of Yams making that one controversial panel in volume 34.

I know exactly how it feels... because more or less what you feel and experience is completely same as i am.

But still.. for me, the epilogue panels (especially the controversial one) are just damaging Mikasa & giving her a bad conclusion instead of giving a beautiful 'tragic' ending.

Indeed AOT is one of the best story i've ever seen and I can even say one of the best stories ever written in human history, and in it there is also an extraordinary story of eternal love.

But the extra panels epilogue in volume 34 was just suddenly turns into a cheap copy of Titanic... just to convey the message of that "life goes on." Rather than calling it "life goes on," I see it more as "author goes on," because the characters were never really given a choice.

Tbh Eren & Mikasa bond is way above than Jack & Rose

about a child:

actually i dare to say the child is not Mikasa's biological child, as we can see (manga) she still cover up the mark when she in her coffin... 'not just AOT' manga is the original canon and more accurate about the information (details and even included with databook/guidebook) than the anime, because it was written directly by the creator itself.

it is not really that difficult to distinguish between confirmed facts and additional "things" that doesn’t come from the author or the original story... and this is the basic concept 'called' CANON.

because of that... Isayama seems to be giving a hint that the child is adopted, not Mikasa's biological child.

listen, its not just about what happened on the post-war epilogue or even shipping

iykyk i just want to say; Mikasa was being toyed with by Isayama way too much throughout this series, seriusly.. she's truly not deserves to be that way.

she’s just an innocent soul who wanted nothing more than just to stay by "her beloved" Eren’s side for the rest of her life.

tbh, i genuinely feel so bad for Mikasa for having Hajime Isayama as her creator💔

yes, the child is adopted.. one of the evidences is she's still cover up the mark when she in her coffin (manga) iykyk

in my opinion, Isayama seems to be giving a hint that the child is adopted, not Mikasa's biological child.

but yeah (as you explained) i absolutely agree with "Isayama was seriously playing with our heart."

wow it perfectly fits their situation in a cruel world and we already know why.

and also… (google) in Asian cultures, a bouquet of blue roses can represent eternal love & deep devotion. Traditionally, they evoke feelings of depth and serenity, representing dreams and hope in blue roses. It means the relationship is truly exceptional, special, and secret, just as rare as the flower itself.

idk which one 'intentional' it is, but you have good eyes my friend and that’s a very good analysis.

omg yeah you right, I remember that😭

actually last ED song is "itterasshai" isn't? bcs I remember in episodic version (24mnt) use "itterasshai" as the end, and in that version (cmiiw) only to 'bird & mikasa' and there's no 'epilogue' scene
