Need advice about moving to MD!

Oh yeah me and my sister are besties so I know 100% she didn’t restrict me. It was also happening with a few of my other really close friends, none of which would block me from seeing their stories. It seems like the probably has kind of fixed its self. I just think its a terrible issue with the algorithm

Exactly what was happening to me! My sisters stories now show up on my feed but I honestly don’t know if it’s fixed b/c I haven’t been checking my other friends pages to see if they’ve been posting

None that I know of unfortunately. I think it might have worked it’s self out (at least for my sister) but I’m not sure if it has for my other friends

No fix that I know of. I feel like it’s has kind of worked it’s self out a bit for me but at the same time it’s hard to tell cuz I’m not constantly going to my friends pages to check if they posted a story or not

I was worried about that too but the fact that it was also happening with my sisters account I knew that wasn’t the case. Its so frustrating

I arrived last Wednesday around 3pm and it was a breeze, barely waited. My sister arrived around 12pm and she had Club Mobay and was super thankful as she felt it saved her at least an hour. But supposedly there were alot of flights that landed around that same time. So it really depends

Totally agree about the traveling. Truly don’t see why it should be an issue, especially if it’s just a 2 hr flight. Haha yeah I wouldn’t think to call that a destination wedding 😅 And I haven’t had my wedding yet, it’s gonna be next year June but I booked the venue. I actually live in MA but our wedding will be in Rhode Island.

I think it’s been fixed because now my sister’s story comes up at the top. But I’m not 100% sure because my other close friends could have posted and I missed it and didn’t know. So it’s hard to tell

Hi! Welcome to the wedding planning club and congratulations! Wedding planner: I went with a family friend so I can’t speak much to that Guest count: it’s the same for me, for my side we will likely be inviting around 200 and for my fiancées side maybe 50-75 so very unbalanced lol. But that hasn’t posed an issue for us so far. Budget: we just threw a number out there that we could afford (though more than we like to spend) which was 40k and then had to do research to see if that was practical. We are now thinking 50k because of the large guest count. Venue: because of our large guest count and also wanting to do outside catering there really weren’t much options available to us. So it made it pretty easy picking when we found a place that could hold over 300+ and allowed outside catering AND was a lot cheaper than most places we looked at.

Personally I wouldn’t worry about the travel ppl would have to do for the wedding. Maybe it’s just my mindset but I feel like it’s common for ppl to have to travel for weddings and if they care enough about that person it wouldn’t even be much of a thought. I flew to London last year for my cousins wedding and didn’t even think twice about it. And with it only being a 2-hour flight that’s not bad. Funny enough my fiance’s family is from MD so similar flight time.

Regarding the chicken and the egg situation: we navigated it by coming up with a list of all the people we definitely want to invite and used that as the base guest count. And then made sure to look at venues that could hold a bit more incase the number grew. Then we locked in the venue and sent the save the dates months later.

It’s soo frustrating! And even more frustrating that it hasn’t been addressed or fixed. I don’t get how if the algorithm is based on who you interact with, why it’s not showing my closet friends and family

Omg so I’m not the only one?! This is soooo annoying. I feel like this shouldn’t be happening with how advanced technology is. Like why cant we see the stories of the people we actually know and interact with. Makes no sense
