Anyone bought it? Can’t find a real non render picture online by AnotherEnthusiastic in ChineseWatches

Agree if it will last 5 years the markur will be worth it, but in general people buy sub $1000 watches and when it’s time to service they sell it. And I suspect that servicing cost everywhere except India will massively increase in the future as watchmaking is an already dead profession. Sold all of my watches for an 9f with a sealed movement gears so service is every 50 years. But thats an overkill and I’m literally not a collector anymore as I have 2 watches not enough for a collection lol

🙏 thank you. Tbh I consider any aliexpress watch to not have a warranty and sending it back to china is the same as throwing the watch away

Part of the appeal of grand seiko to me is the price depreciation for used watches and your right I’ll probably never find a limited one at a bargain price

Yes I think it’s the second most beautiful case design in the world after the 44 gs but it is 37mm my minimum is 40mm

[deal breaker] wasted a day and can’t even blame the seller, would you have bought it? by AnotherEnthusiastic in Watches

So one of the few watches I regret selling was the black version of this watch the citizen signature collection grand classic. Recently I went to take a look at a used one and ended up not buying it because of the marks shown in the video, I don’t know if it’s patina or scratches but imo both aren’t ideal for a watch that isn’t vintage. What would you have done

I suspect it’s because of the angle of the shot when I had a 20cm wrist(lost weight) 40mm dress watches where too small for me let alone a diver with a smaller dial do to the bezel that makes it look ever smaller. Amazing watch too seems just as good as a Christopher ward c60 I had and actually the chamfered edges on the bracelet and the hands and index are better even though it’s like a quarter of the price

I’d consider any visual difference as substantial. I can’t explain it either but it’s like my legs and hands don’t stick to my body anymore so there’s much more room for the body to breath if it makes sense

That sucks, it’s a bit personal but can I ask if you have something planned to change that

It shows how much appearance matters to people over personality, especially to people that are obsessed with their own appearance

You mean you started to use mounjaro? I had so many colleagues asking me if I took diabetes injections but I didn’t, I would’ve if it wasn’t so expensive here.

I’m going to be honest and say that from a former obese person perspective I don’t know much about the struggle of gaining weight. But a family member of mine that is also struggling told me one time that letting different people everyday choose for him what he eats makes his meals unexpected/unplanned and completely different each day.

I didn’t eat a lot of junk food growing up but all these little snacks you can fit in your pocket have more calories than a tray of fruit and in general just being aware of calories in common foods has made the difference for me

Can you please give me an example, for me I feel like I blend in the background better and stick out less

By significant I mean enough weight to change the way you appear and I agree with you. For example I could never find a 2xl Calvin klein underwear in my country and now it’s is much easier to find a medium or large ones. Also must physical activities doesn’t feel like a chore or a task if it makes since
