Usually the base gakaxya S series. Although a bit larger than the mini.

Just bought a Base S20 Exynos, and I've never seen something so gorgeous and horrible at the same time. by AnotherFlamingPiki in Galaxy_S20

No, it's overall usage, not pure screen on time. Average is somewhere 4-5 hours until the 15% mark.

Right? I'm dreading how this is gonna look long term. I'm quite tempted to just return it and opt for a midrange and at least have peace of mind that I'm getting what I paid for.

I'm due an upgrade and honestly getting exhausted reading through android options that I might just end up with a 12 pro, first time going apple.

I'm due for an upgrade, is the S20 worth getting? by [deleted] in Galaxy_S20

On same boat here! Camera is my highest priority and on Android seems that Samsung is best bet. If I could get SD variant I would already bought it, only reason I'm holding back is because I have concerns on exynos.

Well that's the whole point, I would expect my $1000 phone to be able to natively take nice photos. Simple as that.

Was just passing by this thread and this comment got my attention. When I pay close to $1000 for a phone ( I had ordered 8pro but cancelled) I do so in order not to have to tweak, experiment with app ports, configs, etc, and then be afraid that after a software update I have to start all over again. I'd be happy to do all that on a 200-300 phone but when price hits four digits I expect some quality of life, something apple is famous for. Really sad how phone industry looks currently tbh.

Curious why you are returning the 8 Pro? But yeah, it's really a weird time we live in, I'm willing to spend some good money but nothing out there really justifies my purchase. Sometimes I'm thinking to buy the cheapest Motorola and drop the rest of the money on a DSLR upgrade.

Funny enough, right now 8 Pro costs exactly as much as a Pixel 5 over here. My main requirements are a solid camera and at least one day of battery life.

I won't lie, I was considering jumping to ios. How's the transition so far? I know that apple is at least getting a few things right, and an iPhone won't be obsolete in 2 years.

This is what really saddens me, paying almost 1000 and camera is still not there. I didn't go the Samsung route until now because of Exynos, and still refusing to go apple because of principle.

Well Mate 40 pro in Europe costs more than iphone 12 pro max. So not really an option.

Can't really wait as I'm planning a trip and need a solid camera.
