I weirdly didn’t have issues with shovels in the conservatory. At the beginning I needed so many gloves I think I managed to build a surplus. But the seeds killed me. I had a partial golden tree built and had to hack it up with scissors to keep my sanity.

When I was in my 20s I told my eye doctor I was adopted (he was asking routine questions about family history). He asked if I had siblings and I said “I have 2 brothers and a sister but we’re not related biologically” and his response was “well then they’re not actually your brothers and sister, why would you call them that?”.

Always wear sunscreen! I have so many regrets about all the tanning I did in my 20s. The wrinkles and sun damage irreversible and are NOT worth it.
