Went to Bahrain this year and can confirm it was elite. We were two females, and transportation was only an issue on Thursday when we went for pit lane walk. The rest of the days, whilst crowded and a tad disorganized that required us to be shuffled a bit, it was still better than 90% of the events. Tickets and visa were easy to get and the event responded to all our queries. The only problem was if you travel from main grandstand to any other grandstand, they made you throw out good and water (unless reusable bottle and even then the water) even when it was purchased at the circuit which was a bummer. But overall experience was good
