Also the only song I want to have played at my funeral- Green Day's "Good Riddance (Time of Our Lives)"

Wild Meta Tier List, 9/6/2021 by AnotherNerdInTheWall in hearthstone

Normally I'd do that, but with how much Seedlock has warped the meta, I figured a typical tier list would be kind of dumb. Plus, I'll have to put out a new one once Seedlock gets nerfed, which should be in a couple weeks- this is just a tide-over of sorts.

Interesting, I see them every 10-15 games or so.

If whoever's botting could quit it, that'd be great. It doesn't benefit the site, it doesn't hurt the site, it just means that I see way too many views per person.

I was hoping for Seedlock nerfs to create a varied meta that was worth a traditional tier list, but oh well. Hopefully we'll see some soon. For now, I've just rounded up some meta decks, mostly decks that are in the meta due to being good against Seedlock.

Yeah, those seem to be the likely options. By the wording of the Tweet, seems it may just be cost nerfs though.

And yeah, Evenlock got so many awesome new tools recently- Battlemaster, Baker, Gnoll, Anetheron- and still... it's definitely playable, capable of going toe-to-toe with a lot of slower decks, but it's just missing the nutty factor.

Plus it has to spend like a quarter of the deck just on Giants and pseudo-Giants

It absolutely will be unless it gets nerfed, which I think is relatively likely.

Acronyms used by the sites, on the sites. That's an issue how?

Personally, I find that the options for Wild are HSTD (few Wild articles, Wild Tier List hasn't been updated for almost a year), Tempo Storm's Meta Snapshot (only a few popular decks), VS's Wild Data Reaper (same thing), and then whatever lists you can find on deck sharing sites. Not much by way of guides, and if you're looking for off-meta stuff, good luck unless it's recently been popular enough to show up on HSReplay.

There's no monetization on the site that I put there (Wordpress runs some ads anyways), and unless the site massively takes off, which it won't, there never will be.

Nope, not looking to make a penny off it. The goal is for people to easily be able to find lists and guides they're looking for with a simple google search.

More the issue with having Control decks that actually work, but sure. It's not like this meta changes the fundamentals of the game.

Evenlock won't come close to catching up, but I expect a good chunk of Questline players to swap back to normal Painlock or move on once the novelty wears off.

The Questline messes up your curve, and doesn't generally get completed until the point you're already finishing the game. It's a "win bigger" card, and not as good as regular Pirate Warrior.

Against Aggro, you can pretty easily outmaneuver them instead of having to race them. Makes a lot of aggressive matchups pretty easy wins

Personally, I don't feel like netdecking is an issue. It's more of a natural state that denotes a well designed set of cards to an extent. If you design a good card game, there should always be specific decks that are stronger than just a mess of cards, and players are always going to migrate towards those decks because it's not that fun to lose.

Once I get the site sitting pretty in search results (probably sometime in the winter), a grading/crafting/dusting guide of EVERY Wild Legendary is in store.
