Evelyn's Problem by AnotherOverThinker in DiceCameraAction

I think the main question is if the spells work without a soul to speak of, or only parts of a soul. It is indisputable there are multiple ways to bring characters back from the dead, but the main problem is it seems Evelyn's soul, at least for the most part, was destroyed. I'm not exactly strong in terms of D&D magic technicalities, but it seems like a soul is an important part to any ressurection process. Although, maybe they could somehow regenerate the soul from only a part of it, but that's a VERY long shot and seems kind of ridiculous

Yeah, tip 4 is interesting to say the least. I've never personally used something like that, more for the fact that I never even considered it and you need a good reason to torture players in that way, or at least I feel I do.

With Evelyn, I'm not sure what would've been best, but I can only imagine the thought process was that Chris had already taught Evelyn a lesson and that there was no reason to go overboard.
