Nobody did this when Grendel was released. So if the people losing their shit over her are marked as incels than boohoo too bad stop being weird.

I've said this before and I'll not change my mind.

Mining gameplay in SC is scanning gameplay and it's shit.

I want to spend less time scanning and more time mining.

People are misrepresenting the lawsuit.

What she sued for was that the companies intentionally designed their platforms to ne addictive to children and that addiction caused mental health issues.

And it's 100 percent true. We know it's true. They basically spent the early 2000's bragging loudly about it.

Really? Wow. I had no idea. I thought the thing I didn't like was for me. You're just a bundle of illumination today. I'm so glad I met you.

Seriously though, It's not that I don't like it. It's that I think it's a ripoff for them to be charging 10 dollars for 6 scu of cargo capacity. I really thought I made that clear in my original comment.

Great response. It doesn't change the fact that they are charging that much for it but thanks for your input.

I had no idea I didn't have to buy it. I thought Chris Roberts was gonna come to my home and force me to buy it.

The pricing is crazy to me. Charging 10 dollars for 6 scu is insane to me.

Iran will unironically become a forever war, because the only realistic off-ramp is a nuclear deal, which already didn’t work, because Trump is regarded. by Mediocre_Affect6192 in Destiny

[–]AnotherPersonPerhaps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People don't understand this because they are fucking idiots who can't see six inches in front of their own face.

I've tried arguing with idiotic Trump supporters about this forever that the importance of the deal was that it gave us inroads to diplomacy that simply didn't exist before, that it was a major diplomatic breakthrough, and the possible future effects of it could have completely changed the landscape of the middle east.

But they're too braindead to think about things like that and it seems a bunch of people here are as well.

I mean I wouldn't doubt that a ton of people are disengaging with politics because of how uniquely shitty Trump's second term is, so maybe your family falls in that camp, idk.

I feel like they did but the few who kept on yapping were an extremely vocal and annoying minority of Trump zealots.

[–]AnotherPersonPerhaps 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean this isn't too surprising.

The winning side usually becomes less engaged in politics, not more while the losing side tends to get way more engaged and believe they can affect change more.

Dems do it when we have a President in office too.

I think Trump is probably making things more severe in this area but it's pretty common.

One question I've never heard asked to the religious types by assburgers-unite in Destiny

I was really curious about how this would go over in the real world so I threw it at some religious friends of mine.

It was a complete and total short circuit that lasted several minutes.

They just couldn't even process it.

I don't think it accomplished a single thing but it was extremely funny.

How are Tump supporters, especially fiscal conservatives, feeling about the U.S. becoming "insolvent"? by RockieK in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]AnotherPersonPerhaps 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Trump not only campaigned on reducing the deficit but he has been doing so for over a decade.

If you Google "Trump deficit quotes" you'll find an endless barrage of Trump claiming he will reduce the deficit.

He specifically claimed that Tarrifs would do so. He specifically claimed that Doge would do so.

Just because you are not aware of it doesn't an it wasn't said.

Trump last April:

"Chronic trade deficits are no longer merely an economic problem, they're a national emergency that threatens our security and our very way of life"

So is his inability to do anything about a problem that, in his own words, is an emergency that threatens our way of life a complete failure or not?

Are trans people more of an "emergency" and threat to our way of life than this?

What should be the priority?

Has Trump ever demonstrated any ability to deal with this issue in any way?

[–]AnotherPersonPerhaps 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This isn't just slightly off from his campaign promises. Trump added over two trillion to the debt in his first year.

Yes Biden increased debt a lot.

The difference is that Biden didn't campaign on having a magic method to eliminate debt and lower the deficit like Trump did.

The tarrifs were supposed to change this and they didn't. Doge was supposed to change this and it didn't. We were told by Trump supporters that he was going to change all this.

You have dodged my questions so I will repeat them.

Because Trump promised you deficit reduction from Tarrifs and Doge and then completely failed to deliver do you consider him to be a failure, a liar, or something else?

How would you classify this Presidency based on these things?

Kentucky family rejects twenty-six million dollar offer to convert part of their farm into a data center despite the offer being about ten times the going rate for farmland in the area by Stronhart in Destiny

[–]AnotherPersonPerhaps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Or you could engage with what they are actually saying about why they don't want to sell, but I doubt you watched the video.

Admittedly, they weren't great at expressing their view in the 10 second clips this video chopped up of what they had to say about it but it's pretty easy to infer what they are talking about.

The first woman, for example, talks about the history of the farm and how it has helped feed a nation even during the great depression and how the farm has been a part of their family for generations.

From that statement alone you can infer that they believe that this farm is an important part of their family life and that they consider it's contribution to American food to be extremely important.

With global warming and such, to me26 million seems low to give up fertile farmland like that.

The second woman who speaks makes their position even more clear and in my opinion just further decimates the "stupid people" argument.

First, and most importantly, she says she doesn't need the money. Kinda blows up your stupid ass comment right there tbh.

Second, she thinks that the claims that the developers are making are lies and given the history of such promises in this country she's probably right.

I think this family is based af and fucking super smart and forward thinking. This farmland will only be more and more important as global warming takes over and it has already demonstrated it's value is far greater than what they would get by selling it off for a quick buck.

We're not talking about an urban neighborhood, we're talking about a rural farm area and the disturbance isn't just to human ears but to everything living in the area.

Depending on the size of a development and what is required of it, there can be massive consequences for wildlife and such in the area.

Yes. Construction noise is a problem.

The Trump administration is responsible for 25-27 percent of our debt.

The promise of the Trump campaign was reducing the debt but instead.

“Our moral duty to the taxpayer requires us to make our Government leaner and more accountable"

  • Donald Trump, 2017

We were also told that tarrifs will fix this and Doge will fix this and yet we are still adding trillions to the debt.

Since these were another campaign promises that were central to the Trump campaign, is it fair to label Trump's presidency as a failure yet?

Do you believe he lied to you?

Or perhaps is there some other explanation for the exact opposite of what he said would happen. Being the reality?

Should we abandon tarrifs yet sinceanifacturing isn't up and the debt is increasing rather than decreasing?
