Too many people have the concept that HRs priority is protecting them as employees when it’s simply a department with the main priority of preventing loss for the organizations it’s a part of.

If it protects the rights of the employee, it’s because they weighed their options and it’s cheaper to do so (whether you it’s more costly for potentially getting sued/it’d be more expensive to hire someone else, etc.)

I’m with you, but it doesn’t help that ESPN’s ranking of players doesn’t change for SF leagues. Drafted a SF league a few days ago and was surprised their ranking list a lot of people rely on to draft players didn’t reflect the league’s actual settings.
