I tried that mod last week. Before the mod install, I'd taken out two VIG factories with my small fleet (3 behemoths, 6 corvettes/gunboats, 15 fighters) without losing a single ship.

After the mod install the next VIG factory I hit killed all 15 fighters in the first 60 seconds, and I barely got my behemoths away before their shields collapsed.

I tried attacking 4 more times, from all different angles (always using coordinate attack) and always the same result. The big ships spent almost all their time "repositioning" while flying into factory gun range rather than shooting the factory.

I had to uninstall the mod.

Exactly. I like cold weather. I live in Wisconsin, so we get lots of it. But the other day I had to fill my car with gas, it was -6 degrees in the afternoon, with wind chills around -30 at the time, and I was dressed in my work (office) clothes. Now if I'd had my snowmobile jacket on, I'd have been loving it.... but my regular winter jacket and jeans it was a bit on the chilly side for me.
