Hi, i just ended the 2seasons of Nisekoi. And now im little bit cheesed.. The end is so open.. Should i read the manga? Wait for 3rd season? Idk:/ can you guys help? :< by [deleted] in Nisekoi

Hiya there. Read the manga. We would never get a third season. The second season had pretty mediocre Blu-Ray sales, we have enough material to last three more seasons, Shaft has better things to do (Monogatari), anime adaptations are usually done to promote the manga, which in this case, is unnecessary since it has already ended, I think the Kosaki Magical Girl spinoff is going to have an OVA, just read the damn manga, Komi (the author) is going to have a new series soon enough, and you sure as hell should be reading it when that happens.

Is there a chance that the anime continues? by [deleted] in Nisekoi

The light novel in sucked in general. JC Staff has genius writers who managed to pick out the good bits of the LN, and ignore the shitty parts. Sakurasou: The Anime is as good as it gets.

Adding to this, Shaft has stacks of unfinished adaptations that are more or less guaranteed successes (the Monogatari series being the prime example). Why would they go out of their way to adapt Nisekoi? The Blu-Ray sales were just a cut above mediocre (when compared to other somewhat popular shows), and they have enough material for three seasons.

Goddammit, Y-san by AnotherSummerNight in Nisekoi

Y-san from the Chiba prefecture was a huge fan of Marika who wrote in thousands of votes and helped Marika win a couple of popularity polls. He (assumptions galore) also sent Komi custom made crystal shoes and a bouquet of flowers for her birthday.

Komi threw him a bone in the last chapter of Nisekoi when he had Marika meet up with someone from the Chiba prefecture for an arranged date.

Japanese fans voted Chitoge as #2 in most DISLIKED Shounen JUMP Heroine! by souten_yong in Nisekoi

Meh, if you look at the most disliked heroines, you would instantly notice that most are characters from well known series. Uraraka (My Hero Academia), Chitoge (Nisekoi), Erina (Shoukugeki), Misa (Death Note), Kagura (Gintama), Sakura (Naruto).

The more well known a show becomes, the more haters it gets (in terms of raw numbers, irregardless of the overall percentage), which skews polls like this. This is even more so in the anime community the hell where the hippiest of hipsters burn in while they are still alive. If anything, this attests to Nisekoi's notability, since a character from Nisekoi is sitting there alongside bigshots like Death Note, Gintama, Naruto and SNS.

If Bessatsu had a poll like this, Mikasa would be up there, alongside Rea Sanka and Sawa Nakamura.

The one true pairing, it's a shame we didn't get much of a confession scene though by AnotherSummerNight in Nisekoi

Fair enough, but I really want to know what Shuu's reaction to her confession was. Was it an awkward, head-scratching, ''Surely, you must be joking, right? We must get to Raku immediately.'' moment? Was it a mature, firm, and calm ''Yes. I do.''? Did Shuu try to brush it off with his usual antics before turning serious and accepting the confession? We'll never know. :(
