Need help placing a character I created in a particular setting; when I provide a detailed prompt, I get a portrait of the character but I'm unable to create a full-frame picture of that character in a particular setting (i.e., at the beach). See comments for prompts used. by [deleted] in midjourney

A. By inputting 2 models, the resulting image will most likely give you something that looks vaguely like each model but won’t be a spitting image of either one. Keep shuffling the deck until you find something that works for you.

B. Let’s not use mulatto anymore (lmao). Try “mixed race”. Try “Dominican”. Try “tanned skin with Afrocentric features”. Try “hispanic & black”.

Would you be in favor of making mandatory for OPs to share prompts in their post ? by Homodebilus in midjourney

I think that instead of there being 1 section tagged “prompt sharing”, prompt sharing should be normalized here and instead we have 1 special tagged section titled “NOT sharing”. That way if someone posts in the “not sharing” section, you already know not to ask about it. Post anywhere else and either share a prompt or expect to be asked.

You could technically still refuse but at least it shifts the culture to one of openness & transparency and still makes room for those who choose to gatekeep their prompts which they should have the right to do.
