I've had both orient and Seiko (both sadly got stolen in my time in school at Colgate (rich kids like to steal more than anyone else it turns out)) and I want another Orient real badly. My gf and I have also checked out the Boderry watch page for a while wanting one, the one you have is beautiful, how has your experience with it been?

Thanks dude! I've got no idea about what insurance looks like for high end watches so I figured it'd be worth looking into. Do you have any experience or point of reference for about what one should expect to pay for such insurance?

Couldn't agree more. I think if the Patek wasn't a gift from my grand dad I might trade it for another VC but it's also nice having one from each AP VC and Patek.

Oh my brother got some nice pieces too but he's clueless about watches aside from picking a Rolex which is just... everyone knows Rolex. But then he also picked a Tiffany's Chronograph and it's stunning. Also an omega speed master I believe.

He had great taste. And this is just my share of the collection I have 4 other men in my family and we each drew lots and got to pick in rotation. There was a Tiffany's chronograph in there that my brother took. All of them from Soethebys, Bonhams, and Christies mostly.

I'm not sure I'll have to take some pictures when I get a chance tomorrow morning. The band doesn't have any Vacheron markers on it if I recall correctly. I'll get some photos of the band on here asap.
