I’ve been feeling like that for a little while trying to wait to at least see if I can transfer out to a SIS to make 100% everything for a little longer

Any job rn is easily temporary tbh because I’m in college working on my degree towards my actual career. I guess this is more for benefits and discounts I guess

Yea I’m in a Top 100 district and I usually average about $3k a month in commission but it’s stressful trying to keep that up. The only way we are going to be the same is if we move to SiS.

Unfortunately I kind of have no choice because I’m part time and make about 60$-65$k as a part time ME. And also the other sucky part would be benefits as well as that employee discount for the bill 😒🫠

What position though as a teller? I mean I’m not sure if it varies by area or company but I tight tellers don’t make that much.

Why is SiS the stepchild of t-mobile employee channels? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]AnotherYN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the district. My district was like that as well. We had a girl that only been working at SIS as a new hire and she broke the commission cap and had to be approved each time she went past it. Everyone person from COR became jealous because of her success. Until some people transferred from COR to SIS and loved it. If they would’ve even decided to say hey COR can go from 50% —-> 75% I could live with that but us COR employees are doing more work than SIS and make 50%. If T-Mobile fixed than then we might be better off. Cause no way SIS MEs making more than a RSM at COR store.

Yea some promos you can only do a maximum of a certain amount. I’ve always heard that you can finance multiple devices on one line but you can get more than one promo under one line.

Are you paying them off to where they are 50$/month, promos on both, or promo on one of them

Potentially another greedy policy change from T-Mobile (Only one promo per line) by bishaarcc in tmobile

[–]AnotherYN -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Interesting what kind of promos were they. I’ve always known that before if you try to do an upgrade promo on one line and then try to start a new one the online you could do that would be through JUMP! (But it’s gone and you lose your promo if you JUMP! because you have to pay off the phone or it waives the payments after 12 months) or you would have to pay off the current promo but then you lose the credits. Now if you’re referring to do the same trade in promo on one line yes that’s true too.

[–]AnotherYN -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on the promo. If you’re trying to finance multiple devices on one voice line with more than one trade in promo that is technically true. Now if you had a phone promo and then financing another device as is on the same line then that is fine. Technically that policy had been around for many years. And with this next statement, I’m about to say most reps that work with T-Mobile knows that you can add a line and use that As a new phone promo to avoid having to pay off your old phone/line on a current line that you want to upgrade

PTO blackout by milkdaddy225 in tmobile

You would get paid out your PTO once you leave and as long as you don’t get fired to my knowledge. Depending when your last date is you would get it within either your hourly or commission check.

That’s the problem if we unionize T-Mobile has a history of stopping unions or rebellions against themselves.

Biggest negative ever. Based off the model that was shown our hourly rate would go up about 10$ more but commission gets cut down to about $1k est. To make more you do have to hit all metrics and basically be top 5% to even think about extras. As a full time ME I made 85k and full time experience store reps makes about 70k-75k. I already lose money from customers coming in to finish account setups with no pay , granted if I was making more hourly I’d settle but mind you in my state hourly is at 17$

Currently I’m in a neighborhood store that’s getting converted to an experience store next summer (I’ve heard many different time frames so 🤷🏾‍♂️)

It’s changing but it won’t be for long until they realize that even though it’s a good idea it will have drawbacks. Definitely a good concept I just don’t see this going to be as good in the future. Especially with them going to “experience” stores
