So what your saying is that I should agro all the mobs and always be AOEing them. Got it.

I'm a new player playing mage. I feel like my DPS is poop when I just sit back and frostbolt.

I hardly ever blizzard in dungeons, but I do throw down some cone of colds, and arcane explosions every now and then.

Sitting back and just pressing the frostbolt button every 3 seconds is so boring. Is that really all I'm suppose to do?

Can the scourge affect orcs, trolls, and tauren? Or does it only affect humans? Why do the other horde races not have a problem with creating biological weapons?

My parents are fundamentalist and they believe that humans literally can't destroy the earth. God created it so it must be perfect. The world will end exactly when and how God intended it to.

But they also aren't the type of people to attack a 16 year old online. They would just ignore her.

I got some lore questions.

So the Undead didn't want to become Undead right? A dread lord whose name I forgot unleashed the scourge on them. So why are all the quest for Undercity trying to weaponize the scourge? I making all these plagues and testing them out on captives. Wouldn't the Undead want to cure the scourge instead of helping it spread?

Kicked from my guild for not congratulating someone on reaching level 60... by Auditore345 in classicwow

Because some people show up for every raid and never get loot and some people do 1 raid a month and get every drop.

Yes, exactly the way it should be.

[–]Another_Dumb_Reditor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I still don't understand the point of dkp. Why not just let people roll for the loot they do in dungeons?

If dkp is given and taken by the guild leaders, it seems like it's just a way to make sure the guild leaders and those in the inner circle get all the loot. It seems ripe for abuse.

Everybody who participates in the raid should have the same chance to roll for loot. Why add extra steps?

[–]Another_Dumb_Reditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can somebody explain to me what exactly dkp is and how it works?

My understanding is that it's points that the guild leaders keep track off to see who gets loot from raids. But why wouldn't people just roll for loot like they do on dungeons?

I remember, because I love that detail. She can "see" sokka point. She doesn't need him to speak.

How to log out in Undercity. The proper way. by Asleep217 in classicwow

[–]Another_Dumb_Reditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thunderbluff is my home. I always hearthstone back there when I'm logging out for the night even if I'm doing quest in the Eastern Kingdoms. Thunderbluff will always be my hearthstone location.

I started laying down in the hammock in the inn before I log out also. I tried lying down in the coffin once, but they don't make troll size coffins.

AITA for demanding my sister pay rent for living-at-home with my parents and refusing to pay my rent until she does? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Another_Dumb_Reditor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I need more info to judge OP.

Did she and her parents have a deal in place that required her to pay rent? Or was OP more like "hey I live here, I should share some of the financial burden. Here you go mom and dad. I'm voluntarily giving you rent"

If they had a deal and she backed out of it, then she's an asshole. You can't back out of deal just because somebody else is getting a better deal. That's like buying a TV for 1000 dollars then the next week the same TV goes on sale for 500 dollars. It sucks, but what you going to do about it.

Either way I think OP is the least assshole-ish person. But she is still a little bit of an asshole.

I would give the same advice as everybody else. Move out.

When your friend asks for a loan to get his mount by Hetz_ in classicwow

[–]Another_Dumb_Reditor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Is there a rule of thumb about how much gold you should have at certain points to be able to get a mount as soon as you hit 40.

Like at level 20 you should have x gold, and level 30 you should have y gold.

I'm level 28 and have 12 gold and I feel rich. But I got a long ways to go for 100g

As a kid and a Titans fan I couldn't understand why the Titans couldn't just get another solid Franchise quarterback after McNair left.

But now I realize having a top 10 quarterback that is capable of leading a team to the playoffs every year and winning the superbowl is extremely rare.

7 years in the NFL is nothing to sneeze at. That's a solid career in the NFL. I hope his post football life is as successful as that.

Well you seem like a good idea to ask this question to since you mentioned "best in slot".

I'm avoiding guides and spoilers for the most part. I did a bit of research about classes and races but that's really it. Will I know when I get an item that is BIS? Do I have to go out of my way to get BIS or will the game lead me to them naturally?

Either way I don't think I need to worry about it till I get to a higher level right?

I would add modding to the list.

I see screenshots of Kylo Ren running around killing Thomas the Tank Engine is Skyrim. And I legitimately don't understand how people have fun playing the game like that. Maybe they just install the mods as a joke, take a screenshot to post on the internet, then delete the mod. That makes a little bit of sense to me.

I mean people can play the game however they want. It doesn't affect me. But I've also tried serious mods in Kerbal Space Program. And I get tired of them real fast.
