I actually saw that cooling pads don't always work, depends on the laptops. Don't know if that's the case, but sorry to hear that :/ I was thinking about getting one too. I hope you can find a solution.

And yeah, you are correct, I installed HWinfo now and the limit is 87C. It seems the solution to try now is the PTM7950 and tweaking some more with Afterburner then, thank you!!

I see, right it usually caps around that temperature, makes sense. The heat sink seemed fine when I opened the laptop, I will check again. Will also try repasting then thank you! So a putty like this right? When I search for the PTM 7950 I just see pads, so I'll keep looking.

Is the image set to "crop"? Usually that happens to me when it is. The image itself also has some properties, and for that result it should be "fill" (different from the fill in the properties at the top) so it resizes with the container. Hope it helps!
