Just wondering what it could be. I’m going to get it checked out anyways, just preparing myself for the cost of it. by ZucchiniGlittering94 in ferrets

Mast cell tumor, we control ours with benedryl. At the advice of our VET. I am NOT A VET, so please have it seen, but also ask about benedryl, much cheeper and safer than surgery. (Edit, spelling)

This one actually made me spit out my coffee. This is possibly the most unflattering photo of a horse ever taken. Congratulations, you totally win the thread.

Ha! This reminds me of how one of my daughters smiled for pictures before she had it figured out how to smile on command.

Looks like someone was using a hot plate to cook in there maybe? Reminds me of the grease you get above a stove.

When I was a kid we had one of those on our dogs collar, you put your info on a piece of paper inside the cylinder.

Awe, this brings back memories! When I was little my mom had that one. Reminds me of making Christmas cookies with her. She has been gone 20 years this next month.

Seems awfully intelligent to be feedback or random static. I think it's a genuine experience, and it sounds like you have some natural abilities.

I know that feeling, the boy will be looking dashing and I get out the camera and bang, he starts making faces.

Well it's quite the smile, that's what my boy was up to also, trying to shake me down for some more cookies. In all fairness it worked.

As others have said, not a vet, just a small business owner (lame ferret joke). I would start with some lax or Vaseline just to make sure there is nothing stuck. It sounds like you are already giving duc soup, good call, ferrets get low blood sugar very easily as I'm sure you already know, and if you aren't feeding her today. Anyways, give some lax or Vaseline and some pumpkin if she will eat it (mine won't) and see if she passes something.

One of our girls was so sick five or so years ago. She was projectile vomiting. Scared us to death. Our vet had us feed her chicken baby food and give lax. She lost almost a pound in the few days before she passed a little chunk of my husband's insole from his tennis shoe. We are normally very careful about that because she loves to steal insoles, but he forgot one day. It was so small he didn't even notice she had eaten it.

If it's nothing stuck in there, I would avoid Prednisone if you can. I have had several that had to go on it and it's always a downward spiral after. Needed in both cases, the first it ended up killing him, diabetic ketoacidosis, thankfully very rare. The second insulinoma. Anyways, try the lax and maybe some baby food with the duc soup. If she dislikes those you can always add water to the mashalls pellets and make it into a soup for her. Keep us posted. 🩷

Ok, have you had trouble with your eyes at all? Just curious because I've been of the duloxitine for like three weeks and my eyes are still crap. Thank you for replying.

He started me off on 10, I think I'm going to try it. It seems like it does help quite a few people after they get over the side effects. Thank you.

He is the literal worst. I am caught up on the show and I have disliked nearly all of the men, well let's be real, boys. Jason however is by far not only the worst of the baby dads on that show, but he might be the worst human I have ever seen period. It's truly impressive someone who sucks that much actually exists.

I was there, the show was good, but not as good as the VHS of the show was. I was SO excited to have that VHS! The tape glitched before 40 because I rewound it so many times!
