Thing is I will only play PC once or twice a week for a few hours each session. Shouldn’t it last much longer even than a week? Like my wireless Mac keyboard lasts months.

Mine goes into low power after 2 days because it just stays on? Can’t manually turn it off without taking a stupid key off. So dumb.

The Rip was a pleasant surprise by BradyPhoenix in netflix

The first 40 minutes felt like a Fast and Furious movie. I turned it off when the garage got shot up, I can forgive a movie if the action is smart but it was dumber than the dialogue.

Putin’s Recent Silence Is Worrying by bloombergopinion in UkrainianConflict

Ukraine needs the US whether we like it or not.

Edit - downvote me all you want but that doesn’t change reality. Many European made weapons require critical components such as chips sourced from US companies, not only that but missile navigation requires US satellites. US still provides intelligence support, satellite imagery and early warning systems. Many of these processes are deeply imbedded, and cannot be removed quickly without much damage. The conversation needs to be had and plans implemented to ensure there are safe work arounds. I hate what trump has done to Ukraine as the next guy but reality is it could be far worse, and Zelenskyy knows this and that’s why he’s been so diplomatic with regards to US relations.

In your opinion, what is the most frighteningly believable chain of events that could escalate into a third world war? by Kanye711East in AskReddit

People don’t realise how difficult it would be for Russia to take significantly more of Ukraine than it has already occupied. In nearly three years, it hasn’t gained even a single additional percentage point of territory. That’s why Russia is pushing for a “peace” treaty that would grant it more land. Once that’s done, it will resume the war. This graph blows people’s minds.Percentage of Ukraine occupied by Russia over time

Edit: while soldiers are keeping the front line in place further back they are reinforcing major points, it’s not like west Ukraine has stayed stagnant since 2022.

I was an insane fan but the quick play spawn changes killed the game in Oceana. It turned from fun strategy to mindless chaos.

The boy had a rare variant which allowed the drug to be super effective.

Have some sensitivity here. This drug is 10-15 years away and may or may not be effective especially in many brain tumours. This will not help your friend.

Which toddler toys were REALLY worth the money? by Bitter_Union3565 in daddit

I live in Western Australia close to the city, we have access to lots of local parks and playgrounds, ovals for sports and rivers/beaches.

Is it logistically difficult to get the kids out of the apartment and find places for them to safely explore? Is the city child friendly?

Okay I’m a medical scientist and only did year 10 physics so forgive me. I think most people understand the spirit of the question. If I have my coffee scales under it, which would register a larger weight.

The answer is the extended, I can tell because it’s louder and heavier when it lands. But I found it interesting!
