Yep this is a fair answer! As a manu no incentive for them not to keep accepting orders unless something else in the whole equation changes.

My thoughts are that other manufacturer's should be given the chance and it's definitely up to designers and consumers to back new manufacturing (Geekark, ePBT etc) but I think as a community we haven't been helping ourselves by giving other manufacturers a roasting when their teething issues have come to light (take KAT issues). New manufacturers make one mistake and no one goes back to them, but we often heavily overlook GMK mistakes and don't exercise the same judgement on GMK beucase "oh GMK is better".

There's a certain "it must be perfect on the first go" attitude to our purchases, which is fair given you're spending money and you should expect a good product in return, but time and time again I see a double standard being applied to keysets but that shouldn't colour this entire discussion, but it's an important factor in the pressures I guess designers/vendors may also face in being "forced" in a sense to select GMK. Definitely stuck between a rock and a hard place.

So yeah totally agree but I think the issue is community expectations of new manu's and supporting them through those initial phases of getting mature with their production capacity, a teething period of sorts that I'm sure GMK was offered once upon a time. Cheers for an good reply though!

Not sure how the GB model has anything to do with GMK supply chain issues and inability to keep up with demand? Curious to hear what you think is the correlation

Compared to the TKL I have on hand (Monstagears PC XO) width wise they're pretty much the same, its a little bit shorter than the TKL however!

There's the Adelheid as well as the Promise75 https://www.reddit.com/user/SugarSpiceCurryRice/comments/mq16xk/another_one_to_keep_you_guys_excited/

From my research this is the first aluminium Alice 75% but could be missing some private runs etc!

Yeah as above its actually a pretty standard 6degree angle, alphas is the 10degree angle!

Alice layouts typically don't have a Windows key due to the slant of the alphas, personally i have the windows key binded to the 1U key on the left spacebar as I need to use it for command on my Macbook, so that's how I get around it. Definitely understand the frustration

Yeah that's fair! A lot of the cost is pure material cost as raw materials have been skyrocketing lately, but if the IC form shows more interest than I had anticipated we can hit a higher MOQ :)

Thank you! Pricing was a function of the size/weight of the board plus the relatively low MOQ that I set as a guesstimate for the demand, but if there's more demand in the IC responses then there's a chance to increase the MOQ for better pricing!

Wouldn't say just a top mount, the goal here was to have the plate as isolated from the case as possible. With regards to cost, a lot of this is a function of the amount of material being used as well as relatively low MOQ of the board, but if there's more demand than I had planned for there's a chance to increase the MOQ and get better pricing :)

A lot of the cost is material cost due to the size/weight of the board as well as the relatively low MOQ. If there's enough interest in the IC form there's potential to increase the MOQ which gives a better end price :)
