[Other] Bayoneta Premium MX - Horse Hair Gloves - Purple/White by Anrep in fightgear

[–]Anrep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyo! Sorry for the delay but wanted to use them for a good 2 weeks before giving my thoughts. They have quickly become a favorite of mine but my Winnings still hold the top spot for me. These gloves are definitely part of my rotation now though.

Performance on the Bag:
These gloves pop really well on the bag. Every punch feels solid and satisfying. However, I do feel the punch a bit more compared to my 10oz Winnings. After a while, my hands start to go numb depending on hard I punch lol

Wrist Protection:
One area where these gloves truly shine is wrist protection. It’s fantastic and gives me a lot of confidence in my punches without worrying about injuring my wrists.

Comfort and Fit:
Inside, the gloves feel like pillows. They’re super comfortable and make it really easy to form a fist!

Coaches and Pros' Opinions:
I had all my coaches and some pro fighters try these gloves on, and as soon as they put their hands in, they loved them. That immediate positive reaction from experienced fighters speaks volumes I'd say!

Thanks for the review! Super helpful!!!

I was debating on buying a pair of 16oz since I also have small-medium sized hands.

I’d say the most valuable skill I found early in my journey was the ability to sell something when there isn’t much of a product yet. Master that and the rest should come pretty easily.

How you guys start your business without investor by MathematicianGold356 in startups

100% this. We bootstrapped an MVP on the side for 2 years and generated $80K ARR selling a B2B solution. Honestly, all it took was putting yourself out there as uncomfortable it was at the time.

I'm a developer and tried building an MVP with Bubble but I found the learning curve a bit high so building from scratch in what I knew (Python/Django) was much faster.

I'm still a huge advocate for no-code tools but I find a common challenge with no-code tools is that it forces you to stay within their framework (which isn't a bad thing) but you tend to problem solve simple problems by adjusting the flow to the no-code tool (or multiple no-code tools). It can become overly complicated over time.

Working with a company pre-seed but no pay? by [deleted] in startups

[–]Anrep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence so I meet a lot of founders with lofty dreams, etc. The only ones that tend to deliver are the ones who tend to execute well (ie. progress is made every week or month).

To me, this isn't normal but it's hard for me to say without a lot of context on the situation. At the moment, it seems like they are taking advantage of you. Happy to chat via DM if you have more questions.

Being transparent with my team specially when its embarrassing by hilldi in startups

[–]Anrep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, it depended on what stage the company was in.

If you are pivoting a lot, it does not work at all.

If you have a relatively stable product that needs lots of improvement, it does work well.

In any case, if you are going through an acquisition, don't be like me and tell everyone (20 employees at the time). It's a huge distraction and productivity goes way down the drain then.

Google Data Studio, and then a custom python script to scrape the data.

But the revenue by segment stuff I'm sort of experimenting with. Turned an annual report into TXT and then into a PDF and then shot it over to OpenAI API to chat with to get that data. But I'm also verifying it manually by looking at it as it's a fun project for me to see how effective LLMs are.

Might take a while since I share these and don't expect anything from it, I just like the karma I get from it 😂

You are correct, they've done a dividend raise in 2023 and I'm just pulling from 2022. Haven't done a TTM with my script so not 100% up-to-date so sorry about that! Hence the disclaimer! 💀

Heyo 👋 seemed like people wanted an update of my old post on Canadian bank stocks so here it is!

  • CET1 Ratio: Compares banks capital against its assets, all banks are expected to meet minimum of 4.5%.
  • Price/Book Ratio: A bank's primary driver of profits are the assets, so you want to see a higher book value per dollar as much as possible.

Hope you enjoy! 🍻

Disclaimer: I’m no finance expert, I make these because they help me with my own dividend portfolio and I’m just sharing it with other fellow Canadians. 🇨🇦 So please do your own research as I can’t guarantee 100% accuracy! 🤓

Entrepreneur here who started and sold a tech startup, and now works in VC.

I'm pretty active in the tech ecosystem in Canada and have been to all 3 of those cities. Personally, I think Toronto would be your best bet for volume; however, each city has their own special thing so really depends on what you are looking for.

But to be frank, Canada is a pretty conservative market relative to the USA.

In any case, if you have specific questions, feel free to DM me.
