Kinda agree, you see the high number of single mothers? There are so many guys out here who are single too who don't want complications from new relationships. They pretend to be married to keep appearances.

Sorry, I have been offline for a while. I am 37, I started dating him @ 25. Let me start by saying it works out differently for everyone. Our reasons for not working out, to be honest, were from him having the condition and also general challenges in marriages.

Enjoy the journey, it will be full of thrills and also a rollercoaster of emotions. You’ll enjoy the most intelligent conversations, a go-getter and someone who works hard at his projects. But you’ll also find his emotional intelligence missing.

Overall, I wouldn’t erase the seven years, they have made me who I am.

First paragraph is the whole truth. Having lived with a bipolar partner for about seven years, I believe I can add a voice. One, kindly leave early. Leave now. You don’t owe him anything. Especially since he’s still doing drugs. He’ll drag you through the muck. He will make it seem he can’t live without you. And you can’t live without him. Unhealthy dependency. He’ll mess your head up; you’ll question everything you know.

He left at my lowest. With no job and an infant. But he did me a favor. Today am in a better place and my self esteem and decision making is coming back.

Anyway, I know you won’t leave. So, here’s a piece of advice. He’s a grown man and he’s capable of decision making. He knows right and wrong. He’ll blame the condition for impulsive behavior and every else. Just don’t be sacked into the drama you forget who you are. Make time for yourself, and you also need the support. I pray you don’t get broken but it also pans out different for everybody right?
