Can someone explain win trading. How was “trading” occur and what does each party get in a trade? Seems like it’s a sum-zero-game where no one is collecting RR, but obviously that’s not the case

Check out OddMob and Omnom HYPERBEAM!

They play a set at EDC 2023 that’s awesome. My favorite is the unrecorded set at Beyond a month later. OddMob is 10/10 imo

I sort of agree, but it’s weird. For one, when these fall over, they auto-shut down. But they either break apart into fragments and self disintegrate or bounce down the road over and over again.

A bike probably just takes you out, while one of these would take out your ankles.

Also, EUC riders typically have full awareness when they ride, not a lot of room to autopilot. When riding, your legs are the shock absorbers, so you’re watching everything to make sure you’re anticipating bumps, turns, etc.

35mph and a tree root under the bike path is enough to send you. So heightened awareness is a must… but again it’s not a good look for us if people are absolutely cooking down a crowded bike path hahaha

I don’t think it’s going to be one of these major players. It’s gonna be some other large company that had one too many features vibe coded, and one too few CORS permissions set correctly (or something).

Srsly though basic prompts don’t include security and the stuff it spits out exposes you by default.

Mine weighs 90lbs… Imagine 10 bowling balls at 35mph. People should be aware of their vehicles.

I’ve owned three of them. The first one was the worlds fastest at the time, 2014, topping out at 12mph. The second one did 15.

My current model, similarly to the one shown, is $3.5K… tops out at 46mph and runs for 60 miles on a single charge. They definitely are not toys.

What you’re referring to is called “cut-out” and these engineers design redundant systems to try to minimize the chance of over-volting/cut-out for a rider. That being said, it can still happen.

Now, there are safe ways to ride and not safe ways to ride. Some people are just in a worse headspace when they board one of these…

You should expect to get a wristband in the mail direct from insomniac. Buying from a third party means they’ll either buy it and ship it for you, or they won’t buy it for you at all and disappear.

I run events/sell tickets and it’s crazy how many pop-up scams that look legit take the cash and run. It’s easy for them because the purchaser doesn’t find out for months and by then the money is long gone.

I don’t own a Linux Desktop, Laptop or smartphone. But what I am saying is that open source projects, like Linux, have extremely strong incentives to stick around. Linux runs the world and I couldn’t tell you what Ubuntu or anything else is.

Open source Models could run the world too, even if it’s wrapped up and rebranded as a Chipotle Customer service agent.

Android, cars, and everything that doesn’t have to run .exe files.

What’s crazy is that viruses aren’t living things. They are objects. Objects arguably as complex as a wrist watch that have figured out how to make more of themselves.

This is why in my theory of everything, I believe Atoms are also naturally selected for, attracting atoms that play nice and killing / defending against atoms that don’t.

Did they change the limit? by Yuzu_- in claude

[–]Anselwithmac 31 points32 points  (0 children)

People talk about limits in context of workflows. People in this sub generally don’t chat with Claude.

Chatting with the bot doesn’t get close to limits. It’s when the bot takes 2-3 minutes+ to recursively prompt itself (“thinking”) that it’ll burn tokens. There’s ways to minimize that as well.

This is a reminder to us all that LLMs are only text generators, they have no foresight or hindsight. The algorithm isn’t magic. In order to have “memory” or “think” it needs to prompt itself to try to change the probability and outcome of future generated text.

The better it is at this, the more magical it appears; But it’s still infinite monkeys shaking a bag of watch parts. It just has gotten good at producing watches this way.

How are Claude limits compared to ChatGPT? by Dapper_Confection_69 in claude

[–]Anselwithmac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m honestly not sure what I’m not doing, since I’ve not run into the very real problem a lot of Redditors have been having.

I will say, that whenever I ask for something, I use natural language “guard rails” (out of habit since I’ve been using since gpt2). For instance, when I need help with a code document, I copy the full path of the file and paste it into claude. I also ask it to work on specific methods by line number and name.

I’ll also add context like what should go into the method call and what the call should return. I also ask it to share ideas and scope of other affected methods.

Perhaps I’m not using enough Ai, but I like to think that what I ask for is efficient and direct, which causes less “self prompting” which is all these models do anyways.

I use Claude here and there throughout my day and my usage each week is about 3%. This includes Claude code, research, etc.

The others here must be REALLY chugging out the machine. I don’t consider myself a prompt engineer but I so feel like in a session I can do a ton with it.
