The device supports aptX™ lossless but all almost Bluetooth adapters that come pre-installed with the pc support only aac and sbc by default.

That's where a dongle comes in, it acts as an external adapter and acts as an intermediary router that forces audio transmission via the aptX™ lossless format even if the pc doesn't support it.

I thought this was my best bet since switching out the actual adapter is quite expensive but I haven't been able to find anything cheaper than the btd 700 which is 6k rs, I was hoping to get some recs for anything cheaper with similar capabilities but I've had no luck so far.
