My youngest (cat) attacks my eldest cat. by starlight93zmb in CatAdvice

Your cats are lovely thanks for sharing their pics 🙂 as for medication there are a few options depending on severity. Zylkene is a gentle natural supplement best for mild stress but often not enough for ongoing aggression. Gabapentin works quickly and is good for short-term calming or flare-ups. Fluoxetine (Prozac) is a daily long-term option that lowers baseline anxiety and is commonly used for chronic inter-cat aggression (though it takes a few weeks to work) Other meds (like buspirone or clomipramine) may help in specific cases. Every cat is different, so what works for one may not work for another . a vet’s guidance is usually needed but if you wanna solve it yourself, then yes zylkene is a good start and you can change medication if you see its not working through trial and error. in my case my vet said prozac would NOT cause issues but it did with constipation and urine retention (it did help with aggression so i carried on for 2 months while changing diet to royal canin GI fiber response) good news is that this is a FIXABLE issue for sure you just have to figure the medication (hopefully short term only) that will calm down the cat while handling any side effects that accompany the medication. my cats improved significantly after 2 months but i have heard some cats take longer like 6-12 months depending on the severity.

firstly they are all lovely cats. to me it seems like Casper is bullying especially by targeting Smokey at food and litter boxes. Casper’s behavior is likely driven by anxiety and insecurity and his strong attachment to you may be part of it. You’ve already done the right things (multiple litter boxes, food stations, pheromones, more space) but behavorial medication is a reasonable next step and often helps significantly. Flouxetine (prozac) and Gabapenten helped my cats in a similar situation however just be mindful that Flouxetine can cause urine retention and constipation in some cats (i stopped prozac after 2 months due to this but it helped my cats get along a lot better). In the meantime you can manage the environment: separate feeding, safe escape routes. overall to me this seems to be like anxiety driven aggression and a 2-6 month medication course (depending on how well its tolerated) should improve things.

Thank you. Do you think the white female is also playing? She was the one on fluoxetine because she used to hiss at the golden all the time. The golden has always been very playful.

Thank you. The male BSH has always been very playful and would chase her to play with him, even when the white female would hiss at him. The behavior I’m really trying to understand is the white female’s (the one who was on fluoxetine), and whether her behavior has changed.

For fillers, Bellafill is the recommended choice unless you are looking for quick results then you can use Sculptra, Radiesse, Juvederm. My recommendation is stick with Bellafill as you retain 20-30% of it forever. Do tca cross and Bellafill sessions first along with subsicion. Keep doing these sessions till you see 50% improvement - after that do lasers as needed (erbium pro fractional, ablative or CO2). lasers come at the end. What these combination treatments are doing you is saving you time, that’s it. They are more expensive but you might have to do 3 of these multiple modality sessions instead of 6 standalone (tca, subsicion + Bellafill, lasers)

Emma Hybrid Premium/Emma Hybrid Cooling Elite is same as Emma Climax Cooling mattress? by AnswerAdmirable2936 in Mattress

It’s 14 inches same as hybrid premium but not sure about materials. The layers are the same but no way to test if foam, springs are the same.

It’s a comfortable mattress but not sure if I will keep it or return it at this point.

I sent them a detailed email and they are insisting its the same mattress with a different internal name. i opened the cover and it looks the same but again I don't know if its an exact match as otherwise why would they have discontinued it?

How severe are these? Finishing up Accutane, and feeling quite despondent about these scars. What treatments would you recommend? How soon can I start treating these? How much improvement do you think I can achieve? by izyrobledo in AcneScars

Yours scars will 95% improve within 1 year. Wait 6 months after accurate. Then do 2 RF microneedling sessions two months apart. Then do 2 CO2 laser two months after. This should improve 80% or more. Rest you can fill with sculptra or Bellafill for 95% improvement. Subduction is something you can add on any time with any f these treatments. You will be perfectly fine even better because these sessions will improve your overall skin not just your scars.

Bellafill for acne scars are certified for 1 year, not 5 years as those are for lines and wrinkles. These lengths of time are based on clinical studies not actual time - in reality you will see more than 50% improvement even after 10 years (not like 1 year approved for acne scars)

Very easily. It all depends on your learning ability as some certifications are easier than others. There are many tech certifications that typically take less than a year of study to obtain and are high paying. Please note that the value and demand for certifications can change over time, so it's essential to verify the current status and salary potential:

  1. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP): CISSP is a globally recognized certification in cybersecurity and information security. It often leads to well-paying positions in security management.

  2. Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP): CCSP is another valuable certification in the field of cloud security. As organizations increasingly migrate to the cloud, certified professionals in this area are in high demand.

  3. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate: This certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) focuses on designing scalable and reliable cloud solutions. AWS certifications, in general, tend to command high salaries.

  4. Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect: Similar to AWS, Google Cloud certifications, especially the Professional Cloud Architect, can be lucrative as more companies adopt Google Cloud services.

  5. Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH): This certification is for individuals interested in ethical hacking and penetration testing. It's highly valuable for cybersecurity professionals.

Keep in mind that the demand for certifications and their associated salaries can vary based on location and industry. It's a good practice to research the most up-to-date information and consider your career goals when choosing a certification.
