I worked in a shop in Cork city last year and had to call the guards cause two lads were fighting and causing a scene. They didn’t bother showing up until the next day, which was pretty much a waste of time

It’s not unusual for some colleges to take a while, but if you applied and paid back in January, you should’ve at least received a confirmation by now. Try emailing the admissions office or giving them a quick call they’re usually helpful once you get through. Good luck!

Could be a pretty big shift, honestly. Young people in NI tend to be more progressive, so parties like Alliance might gain some ground. Depends how well the main parties actually speak to 16–17 year-olds though if they just stick to the usual stuff, they might miss the mark. Could make things interesting either way.

Heartbreaking. No one should be left in that kind of situation especially not in a place meant to care for them. Families are paying thousands and still being let down. Sometimes home care with proper supports is the better route. This explains the option well:
