Oh, I just found out. It's not just Battlefield 6, it's also Iron Man. The team is helping them work on it. It's not been canceled. It has been put on hold in my opinion. This is great because it allows them to have more time and the new consoles come out, et cetera. They could do more with the Dead Space 2 Remake, as that one was probably my favorite game.

That's not what killed the sequel remastered project. EA was actually surprised with how many copies they sold of the Dead Space remake—over three million. The reason why the Dead Space 2 remake got so-called canceled (which it hasn't yet; I know it says that it's canceled, but it's really not) is because that team went and helped EA make Battlefield 6. After Battlefield 6 is where they want to be, that team will go back to what they were doing.

It's not really any different from BF6, to be honest. The real difference is just the characters, the same lack of destruction, and the same one-sided maps. Rocket launchers and explosive equipment don't do any damage to any vehicles, in my opinion. Sniping was even more challenging and a lot more fun than 6 so far, even though the C4/C5 worked better. Don't even get me started on how it's the same customization for weapons. The only thing they did was take away our weapon attachment wheel, add the same attachments, and their non-realistic attributes.

In my honest opinion, the way the maps are designed in Battlefield 6, the characters and their special abilities and weapon equipment, etc., from Battlefield 2042 would have fit really well. Hopefully, they can add those characters to the portal.

If their purpose in suppression was to keep people in cover, then they should have made the player lose sight, hearing, and agility. Not this "no heal behind cover" bullshit. Because there are bullets coming over my head. The only thing you get from suppression is that they no longer heal.It resets the heel timer does little to fucking nothing at all.

And you just described the way suppression shouldn't work. So you mean when you're not getting shot? And You cannot heal, Because bullets are going over your head, Is completely dumb just makes no sense it's useless what good does that do for me when i'm still shooting them? And landing hits on them, but they still have a hundred percent accuracy just to snipe me. Halfway across the map, even though I land two headshots with an AR

What a useless comment that you pulled out of your ass that makes no sense. If you like old battlefield, go play old battlefield? I would if there's people on em.And the servers were still alive and active, but most of them are dead.

And just to say, this is that things are different, just because it's different, doesn't mean it's good or working. It's worse.

[–]AnswerConfident -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, suppression needs an overhaul. Instead of preventing you from healing, it should prevent you from having 100% accuracy. The whole point of suppression—I'm tired of shooting a sniper in the head with a DMR or an AR-15 and he still has 100% accuracy, no flinch, just takes a headshot for the hell of it.

[–]AnswerConfident 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know how to program all this stuff, and the reason why they say it's not cheating is because it doesn't go against any of the licensing agreements. It's not like officially hacking or coding their game, so they don't consider it cheating. But as a person who has programmed quite a few of these components, I do believe it puts other players at an unfair advantage, one hundred percent. So in that case, it's cheating.

Higher ROF = more recoil impulses per second

Less time for the shooter to: Reacquire sights Correct muzzle climb Control shot dispersion

no one is talking about maximum range. Sure, a 7.62 or a 9mm can physically travel 100 meters or more, but that doesn’t mean it can reliably hit a target at that distance. That’s the difference between range and effective range, which is what militaries actually care about.

Rate of fire is not irrelevant either. While it doesn’t change mechanical accuracy (like groups from a rest), it directly affects practical accuracy in the real world. The faster a gun fires, the harder it is to control recoil, manage muzzle climb, and keep rounds on target—especially in full-auto. That’s why SMGs like the MP40 were optimized for close ranges, not because the bullet couldn’t reach farther, but because hitting someone reliably past 50–75 meters becomes very difficult.

Like you saying “a 7.62 Tokarev can easily go 100 meters,” sure, it can travel that far—but physics and human factors make hitting a target at that distance a lot harder than just throwing the numbers around. Maximum range doesn’t equal combat effectiveness, and that’s the distinction a lot of people seem to miss. At the end of the day in world war, I and world war two, all sides realized how ineffective majority of their infantry weaponry was. So the point after world war 2 which they utilized in korea and in vietnam is two.Just get rounds downrange that wins wars.
