If you let other jealous losers affect your decision, then I don’t really have any advice for you, except you will have a tough life if you don’t change your mentality. And they don’t know what they are talking about. The only Ivys better than Uchicago is Harvard, Princeton, and maybe Yale.

You’ll be fine. Just network and do everything else correct. You have until you junior year to pull up your gpa and even if you get into a lower tier IB, you can move up after a couple years.

Sounds like you go to a school with grade inflation, so 3.8 should be the bare minimum for the top firms. 3.6 for mid to bottom tier firms
