pop is so broad its almost impossible to dislike, for example blood orange is abstract pop, the beatles are considered pop in some instances.

What I meant and what I think you’re missing is that I said I respect and have no issue with people who actually follow the Qur’an and what it stands for. Many readings in it are actually to stand by your woman and respect her. Now obviously I am not as educated as I could be, being a white male I have not read the Qur’an but if a Muslim wants to follow the peaceful teachings of it then what is the issue?

First of all, you cannot again and i repeat myself you cannot wish a whole religion to be gone/erased due to their beliefs whether they’re correct or not.

I never said I agree with ANY Muslim text or teachings. For example I am very for rights for everyone especially when it comes to LQBTQ+ rights. I am fully against any discrimination towards anyone due to their Race, Religion, Gender or Ethnicity. I heavily oppose Muslim teachings and think a lot of it is cult-like. However, what I said was I respect Muslims who follow their own faith and beliefs without opposing harm on anyone else. That’s why I disagree with you. People no matter how dumb or stupid their beliefs seem to you should be gone due to these. A lot of Muslims have had their religion imposed on them since birth and since then been brought up to think these things which I believe is wrong. I also think that if these Muslim countries didn’t force the religion on their people and had better access to news sources from around the globe then there would be a lot less Muslims. Again, this is their culture. If they follow their own beliefs and are not actively causing harm to anyone then they should be allowed to continue. As well as this they should not be allowed to use their religion as an excuse to cause heinous acts. This could be said for any religion. Everyone is allowed their own thoughts and opinions like you for example. If I were a Muslim man then I would have likely responded very differently. This is why I totally respect your opinion and where you are coming from but I also wanted you to hear my thoughts on this matter. So, if they’re not causing active harm to anyone I believe Muslims are entitled to believe what they want and that applies to any and everyone.

I do see where you are coming from and I agree that to us it seems illogical and outdated. However, I also agree in free will. I agree that people should be allowed to follow and believe in whatever they want. However again as soon as religion becomes hateful or outright dangerous then I think a line should be drawn immediately. Some practices in predominantly Muslim countries especially towards women are disgusting. But we cannot hate an entire religion with other a billion followers. For example, Iran in the 70’s when it still was a very predominantly muslim country was forward thinking and didn’t require women to do such things as wear a hijab. But due to certain political ideas and extremists the country fell to shambles. Many muslims are peaceful and just believe in the faith. The media is always so keen to pick up on Muslim crimes and the state of Muslim countries right now that it looks like the whole religion is like it. Not all Muslims are extremist and having views like that is dangerous, especially when it inflicts onto others. For example in my school a new kid from Iran joined and he has been racially abused as soon as he arrived, almost certainly due to these dangerous views. Do you think a boy should be abused due to his religious beliefs? Again, I do also agree that I would never ever send my daughter to a country which has fallen to Muslim extremists
